top gear now clarkson on the nurburgring! should be good for a laugh ! |
His instructor proves there is a German with a sense of humour :D:D;D |
Best Line so far to clarkson "you are not 100 percent talent free, maybe 80 percent" :D:D |
Round the outside of a few bikes too! Cheers! Scott |
Did you see the bike coming off after an incident.....wasnt it a Duke? Did the rider die as that seemed to be what was reported? |

I don't think it was mentioned?? They just showed the 916/996/748 whatever it was and showed the ambulance go past. Poor bugger! |
Its an unbelievable track to fly around |
I have first hand, intimate experience of the tarmac at the 'ring... :o:o but its definitely one of those biking experiences that have to be done at least once! |
The idea of mixing cars coaches and bikes on a track like that scares the bejezus out of me! :o |
The whole thing looked damned dangerous to me - the track looks great but all the different vehicles and driving abilities looked like a recipe for disaster! |
It's not as chaotic as it looks. There are rules to adhere to and most people do. Most accidents are caused by lack of track knowledge as it's so long. |
Looked great. Thought of Mav while watching it! As the biker said when he talked about learning the Ring on an XBox game, "They didn't have the cambers and bumps on the game". |
I started a thread on VD about it, which provoked some interesting responses (for once!), including a link to a very good vid of a lap of the Ring (page 3). http://www.visordown.com/forums/showthread.php?t=183322 |
Moto.... that ring lap is ace some great corners .....what a track....i want to go now..... please :D:D |
