Front Subframes
 

has anybody fitted a front subframe to their 749/999 and removed the lighting unit?

any comments is you have? recommended kit, pitfalls etc?

I think mines a Polini, good quality fit, and it gives you mounts for your clocks, fuses relays etc.

I've got a pierobon one on it's way from Italy, road version, so standard clocks etc can fit.

I have the DP one and it has an integrated mount for a transponder.

Excellent quality and fit.

TP,Yeti,Just a wild guess,but I think the 749/999 subframe will be differant to the one to fit 996,etc.

If not then I'll have to look elsewhere, maybe Yeti and I can get a deal somewhere else if thats the case?

Picked up the fairing last night - thanks mate. No, I'm definitely staying black.

I'll paint the airbox black (I've got a red one in mint condition tucked away in the roof) and run a stealth machine.

Just need a few bits and pieces to get the bike prepped ..

Well make sure you post some pics cos it looks the billy bollox in black mate.

I was toying with doing the 999 in black, go nice with a red frame etc, but then the Haslam kit kinda happened, but I still think I need another kit, as the Haslam kit won't have a sidestand cut out...

had the first bid on this then went to top up the bid to a nice sensible ammount this afternoon and my internet connection decides to pack up for precisely the 10 minutes leading up to the auction end!! WELL FEKKED OFF :mad: :mad: :flame:
