Cycle Cat Clip Ons Has anyone got some decent piccy`s of Cycle Cat clip ons fitted to a 998 and any comments they would like to pass on . Regards Bob.G |
clip ons They are the dog's bxxxxx, frist class in every way, no detail is over looked. fitting them is easy and everything has been designed and thought about. One of the best peices of kit I have ever brought for the bike, last summer I almost thought of changing bike because of the ride comfort, but thought I would give them a go. They totaly changed the bike for me. |

I fitted a set earlier this year and they transformed the bike, allied with a set of rearsets (sadly not cycle cat) the bike became "mine" everything in the right place. They are easy to fit and the build quality is better than anything else. Loads of interest in them at World Ducati week. With the current £ $ rate they should be a bargain |
Next question.....where from in the uk? |
cycle cats |
And a discount (was 10%) if you mention you're in the DSC. Darren |
Thanx chaps |
Without wanting to sound dumb, what is the difference? :puzzled: |
They can be altered to give about an inch of lift. |

Thanks, and yes that was really 360 Km. It was the week I got it. Now it has about 9000 Km on it. But you are right , as all of you I can't wait to get out there again. But that is probably why we have these Message Boards: to get through winter ! Regards, Jean |
Quick Q. re. the Cycle Cat clip-ons: Do they mount to the fork tube with a hinged clamp like the original Ducati items, or do they require removal of the top yolk? Spinoli |
How do they compare to helibars? |
To my eyes, the cycle cat stuff seems to be much better engineered and more adjustable than helibars. They've got some sort of concentric insert system that makes them adjustable for height, horizontal and vertical angle etc... Look Here In fact the whole site is just dripping with billet porn, even for us oft overlooked ST folk. Billet side stand anyone? Sounds like overkill until you realise that you can get them in different lengths so that the sidestand still works if you raise the ride height, and they've got an adjustable stop so that when you've got DP exhausts (which don't have the rubber door stop arrangement that the stock ones do to stop the sidestand rubbing), you can set the thing so it clears the exhaust when raised..... They think of everything Here's the cycle cat home page |
The build quality of Cycle cat stuff is second to non, the bar kit is exceptional. rode to world ducati and back without any problems |
