DesmoDue - Series Logo?
 

Saw this and thought it would be cool if we had our own DesmoDue logo-



Is there on in the works? Anyone have any ideas? Any budding designers fancy a bash?

Ok - here is my feeble effort, I thought the club logo needs to be used in some way and erm......thought I'd better use my own bike to avoid copyright :lol:

Just click on the 7th button from the left on the formatting section.
It's the one with the mountain and sun image.
Insert the url into the pop up eg. http://www.yourisp.co.uk/yourarea/your image

I prefer the nice simple plain approach myself, much like most of Ducati's marketing. The design just says Ducati as soon as you see it IMO. Also, with a simple design it lends itself well for production. Could easily be modified for single colour or two colour print and easy enough for posters and t-shirts too should the need arise.

Anyhow, here it is...

Very beautiful, I prefer you first one even if both are great job...

Second one gets my vote. Love the white stoke on the title, but not sure about the font used for 'racing' - just a bit skinny maybe.

Did you do the flag in illustrator? If so, how?

Yep, all done in Illustrator CS. I could tell you that I spent hours drawing the flag freehand but the would be complete BS :D

It can be done under Effect/Warp/Flag.

God, yet another menu I haven't even looked in.......

Always loved illustrator, but it's a bugger to remember everything if you don't use it for a while (and has a nasty habit of crashing my pc).

I think you'll find it's Univers 45 Light, skewed 12 degrees to the right. It's exactly the same as the font that Ducati currently use on the side of fairings to state the model number...you know, 999r, 999s....ST2 ;)
