DP catalogue

Anyone know of an online resource for DP parts for 748R ?

I was just looking at the ducati.com site. It mentions a full colour catalogue available by model ..

cashburning748r 02-Feb-2005 22:02

Hi mate, funny you should say that as i've just put mine down!

I also would be interested in an online source. I guess i could photo copy my one and send to you? but in todays age of technology I cant believe that their isnt a pdf somewhere.

The brochure is good for identifying part numbers, I do my sourcing from these.

Im after a set of air tubes next if you know of any.

Give me a shout on the photocopy offer.

Mark

Thanks for the offer Mark, lets see if there's an online option. Failing that I'll take you up ..

No tubes I'm afraid, fancy them myself ..

btw .. I'm still expecting a picture at the weekend that does your R justice .. :biaggi:

cashburning748r 02-Feb-2005 22:18

No worries H'O'W but im going to try and find an online resource for ya first.

Nate, same here dude! Will take the pic showing the v piece.

Do you have any R road tests e.t.c?

antonye 02-Feb-2005 22:47

What's wrong with downloading them off the website?

cashburning748r 02-Feb-2005 22:57

Nothing at all! thanks for the link.

I cant seem to find a carbon catalogue for 748/916/996/998 - lots for 749/999

Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance

Nothing Antony, Like you I know they are there as some one once informed me. It does impress me the amount of information that is accessable off the Factory website, far more info available than I have ever found on the Jap manufacturers site, which is sometimes the problem people get use to the Japanese way of doing things and don't realise Ducati do things a bit differently.

NateR 02-Feb-2005 23:02

antonye,

That wouldn't appear to go any further back than 2003 ..

cash,

I did check a couple of road test reports out online, nothing particularly enlightening though ...

http://www.ducati.com/my2002/ducatiM...modelName=748R

There's a bit of info on the 'cati site. manuals etc but as far as I'm aware no DP shizzle.

Lookin forward to seeing those pics amigo!

neil748r 02-Feb-2005 23:12

Crashburning, following Antonye's link, in the menu on the right select "Superbike Classic".

smilo006 03-Feb-2005 09:44

I think that I have what you are looking for. Have tried to attach them but site wont accept an example.
Is it me?

Will try u2u instead. :rolleye:

cashburning748r 03-Feb-2005 09:55

Cheers guys, not sure how I feel about the 'superbike classic' title, I guess it's ok but makes 6/8 range seem very olf indeed!

Thanks for the email smilo006, cheers bud.

That's because all the part numbers from earlier catalogues have been superceeded, so there's no point in looking at them unless it's from an interest point of view.

I've got a couple here I will try to upload....

Ray 03-Feb-2005 11:01

The range of bits you can get from the DP catalogue for 748/916-998 bikes is shrinking.

Quite a few bits less in this years catalogue compared to last years.

There are plenty of aftermarket suppliers willing and able to fill the gaps though.

Ray.

Ahhh that expains it, I have a v piece that has part number 18088 on the product and an older catalogue but different on the new.

Thanks for that.

antonye 03-Feb-2005 11:43

Can't attach the PDF files as they're too big ... will try to shrink them or something...

antonye 03-Feb-2005 11:51

Here's the 2000 performance catalogue...

antonye 03-Feb-2005 12:14

I've got the 2002 one here as well, but after 409834 tries I still can't post the damn thing!!

cashburning748r 03-Feb-2005 13:34

409834 - cant fault you for trying!

Thanks very much Antonye, appreciate it. Would be very grateful if you could emaill to me?

markn@spicerhaart.co.uk

Thanks chap

antonye 03-Feb-2005 15:00

Try again....!

antonye 03-Feb-2005 15:01

Pics are compressed like a bugger, but at least the info is all in there!

cashburning748r 03-Feb-2005 15:04

Nice one, they arnt that bad if you reduce to 20% and squint, look quiet sharp!

Thanks for that.

antonye 03-Feb-2005 15:07

Original files were 5Mb each, so not a bad compression job really!

Guido 03-Feb-2005 19:02

I have two DP cat's on Ebay at the mo. If you need any info out of them b4 they go let me know.

They're the versions printed in Apr 1999 and Aug 2000

Guido
