dd meeting

bit quiet in here today did the riders have to take a vow of
silence at the meeting after the agm or hasn't it finished yet :D

AK 12-Feb-2005 22:16

I think they just wore their voices out with so much chat & discussion.

Seemed all went ok - no blood spilt & smiling faces dodging the rain back to the pub:)

Rumour has they'll be almost certainly be 'black' ones, possibly round, possibly coated in rubber.

Please be calm, grasshopper...Chris is writing up the notes to be sent to those participating first - I'm sure we will know the outcome after that as soon as possible.

Cool, green grass.

thank you, oh wise ebay-master, I shall sit and contemplate with meditation to the DD god... :smug:

NBs996 14-Feb-2005 19:05

One thing mentioned at the AGM was the possible perception of secrets being kept from the non-participating members.

This isn't the case... most things can't be made public until they're set in stone, you'll probably understand why once they're announced. And they're not set in stone until everyone agrees, and in many cases this agreement needs to be made with the participants which is why they get to know first.

Keep watching... It seems there'll be some very positive news coming along soon. I can't wait to hear it!

Boys,

I know I said that I would get an e-mail out tonight, but I am waiting on a piece of information that has yet to come in.

Can you bear with me till tomorrow? I have been told (by she who is sometimes listened to) that I need to wash behind my ears and put my best bib & tucker on, aprarently the 14th of February is some sort of special day?

I asked if Ducati had made an announcement that I had missed and just missed the well aimed hand.

Sometimes I think that they just dont understand priorities in life.

Chris

But there were a couple of modifications to the rules that were announced and non attendees may be interested in.
Sealed batteries as used on the later models may also be used on the earlier models as they are OEM fittment to a Ducati.

Brake lever does not have to be original you can use any

The 11bar limit on compression has been done away with and there is now NO limit, so we can all go and build a engine that will do a excellent impression of a grenade.
