Hellppp!! Guys, Needing a wee bitty help with this one. I'm finishing off a bike project and need to get some stickers custom cut, I've got a top fella lined up to do the job too. But ...... He doesn't have the precise font I need. I'm ideally looking for the classic Ducati type face that was used prior to the TPG takeover in 1997. Can anyone please help me source this? I've searched all the usual font web pages but with no luck at all. I just need these stickers to complete the bike fully. As ever, ANY help appreciated! Cheers! Scott |
mate, try www.morgandesigns.com Claire over there has almost everything ..... Not sure you'll acquire just the font ..... Morgan aren't expensive either .... |
Speak to Jamie (Desmondo) as we found a website with all the fonts and logos on it to download, but I'm buggerered if I can find it again. If you ask really nicely, he may even cut you some cheap on his spangly new vinyl cutter :D (Jamie: I'm on 10% commission, right?) |

Try searching DSC website for "font". I'm sure this has been resolved previously. or could try www.acidfonts.com Undercover font looks pretty similar, so similar in fact that you could type yer word and then use paint shop to mod it? Or is that too old a font? [Edited on 22-2-2005 by guest1] |

Guys, It's the pre-1997 font I'm after - those are all of the current font. It's the font that Ducati used when they were owned by Cagiva that I'm looking for. Thanks for all the help though. Cheers! Scott |

Still not quite there eh? Didnt think this one would be so difficult to crack... 1) This guy seems to sell LOADS of stickers on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...6602 671&rd=1 2) You could always have a crack at creating the Letters you want...I'm sure I remember a program for the Macintosh called Fontographer or something that let you build your own. Time consuming but could be theraputic :lol::lol::lol: Frank |
