New Era forms ..
 

I've just filled out my New Era application as I've got my ACU app sorted now (apart from being unable to put my hands on the certificate for passing the ACU exam :flame: ) and was going to send it all off with my entries for the first two rounds.

The problem being that on the race entry forms you need to specify your ACU license number and your New Era membership number, obviously I don't have either. I've tried to call New Era and couldn't get through but was curious to see if any of you others had been through this?

I sent mine in without either, as I'm sure several others did. Can't see there being a problem as there's months before the racing kicks off.

yes i just sent mine off with 'applied for' in the appropriate boxes

Oh, I forgot about transponder number!

I assume you both did the same thing or do you have a transponder already?

And one last thing, registered racing number - did you guys put the number that Chris has given you or did you leave it blank?

And how many of you have ticked the box for a garage - come on, own up!

still yet to get my transponder will get it soon though.

me? book a garage? as if i would!

I also sent a letter asking to reserve a transponder......dont know if that has worked yet...........

I've got both my New Era and ACU numbers :D

I'm going to put down the Race Number as per Chris's allocations, and for the transponder I have just put "TBC" in there.

did any1 get number 1.?

Have just spoken to New ERA the Lovley Emma

And its fine to have put applied for in the License and new ERA membership number boxes..... as the race is so far away they have plenty of time to allocate the correct numbers when they arrive.........

Transponders cannot be booked and are sorted on the day..they have never had a racer turned away through lack of timing or transponders...deposit 60 quid cash and u get 50 quid back when u return it............

Well my forms are fine now, just need to get that certificate from the course ... and ACU haven't returned my call yet ...

send all your forms to New Era 9inc ACU application) with both New Era and ACU money and New Era will forward relevant bits to ACU who will then send you a nice new credit card type licence and a bit of card to record your signatures - one signature for every race completed (max 1 race per meeting) and when you have ten signatures (at i think three venues )(ACU handbook - which comes with your licence - explains it all) you can dump the scrappy orange (by this time torn to shreds) vest - yippee!!

Found my ACU course pass certificate so I'm set, everything will be in the post tomorrow and I'll be sweet!

Emma is pretty quick with the turning out the new era memberships... mine was on the doormat 3 days after I posted it!
