Crate of Red Bull to get him fired up

Most race days I am now usually very relaxed, probably why I'm not doing as well as I did a few years ago, I'm now quite happy to toddle around at my own pace enjoying myself rather than trying to stuff my front wheel into every opening I see or worse openings I think I see but aren't actually there. Still you never know sat out on the grid with all you orrible lot might get me fired up.
I know I think i'll nip off and get in a huge supply of redbull :frog:

I was having a u2u chat earlier today with Phil and I have to say I'm pretty fired up about this as well. I can't stop thinking about it.

I was in a meeting this morning and I said "Aha" and they stopped talking and looked at me, I'd just had an idea about racing, but I couldn't tell them that ... I spoke for ten minutes about a spreadsheet I built after that :D

I keep thinking about riding, throwing the bike around and remembering everything I was taught at CSS. Whether I'm gonna chuck clip-ons on, whether I'll put a front fairing on .. etc etc

I love it - BRING IT ON!!!!

:lol::lol::lol:

That's perfect! I've had several instance of people repeating questions to me while I drift off on clouds of inlet manifolds, main jets, ride height, etc.... :D

I'm gagging to get going, but not going to rush to by this bit. I may not be too skilled with a spanner, but I love the prep, discussions, learning, riding in weird conditions and the complete unknown that is our grid!

Bring it on!!!

I presume all you racers are having Brolly dollys;):D:lol::lol::devil:

NBs996 22-Feb-2005 22:07

Sadly Sparkydude, i don't think the grid formup routine at club level will allow for brolly girls :(

I've got some lined up tho... y'know, just in case!

My work output is suffering a bit lately too - I spent most of today dreaming up a team logo. It's quite scary, should keep the aussies at bay!

fil2 23-Feb-2005 10:20

I dreamt about bloody chains the other night...!!! now today is all about booking a track day in april and sorting the big bore kit............

I HONESTLY dont have time for work...now where is that corporate sponsership deal im working on...LOL.....

Glad it's not just me that's been experiencing exactly the same problems with my work concentration lately!!

I work from home and can escape even less - my dining room is now a shrine to racing - racing diary blu-tacked to wall with schedule for all sorts of things, Post it notes now appear like wallpaper, clipons, bits of bodywork, race kit, new calipers adorn my dining room table and if the snow keeps on then the bike will be in the living room the weekend for rearset and exhaust fitting.
Only 65 days to go :o
