Cant wait to get my pair fitted properly (was gonna do it the other weekend if you remember but I was missing some tools  (memo to self..stop lending neighbours tools..!!) Nat |

I done my SS myself, but Carl Harrison done the 888 with the rest of the work over the winter. |
Japser, I've got a local guy who's been doing mine. Also does all the ally before I get it anodised. Try the yellow pages. Rgds, Rob |
That duke looks really good rob, you must have put some serious hours on the bike mate. Great stuff. cheers robin |
looks like you need a rear wheel mate, I have a source that had two complete sets a while back. I'll give him a bell, see if there still for sale. robin |
Just wetted the carbon with 15 litres of Essos' finest and enjoyed the Termi rumble for the first time in months. Ehhhh, warms the cockels...... Rgds, Rob |
Does anyone know how Rob's new wheel compares to the ST4S 5-spoke marchenisi's, re weight /size etc? Cheers, Paul |
Paul, The alloy ST4s wheels are heavier. I have the exact weights somewhere (search on Shazamm's posts) but I seem to remember that the 5 spoke allys are only a pound or so lighter than the 3 spoke brembos. I'll let you know about the ST4s rear dimensions in a week or so. I was hoping it'd be a drop in (with bearing changes) but I am now having some doubt. The front is easy, new bearings and a machined monster speedo drive, Job done. Rgds, Rob |
Rob,that bearing change isn`t that straight forward,if you look at the "customer race bikes" the rear spindles are the larger size,so one option is to machine the swingarm holes instead,I know baines have done this before. This would be reasonably straight forward and then use later monster chain adjusters. Graham |
Graham, Why do you say "that bearing change isn`t that straight forward"? Do you have some knowledge of particular issues? If you do, I wouldn't mind a call to chat it over. Rgds, Rob |
