suspension woes

I think this is my first post so here goes.
I have a 1994 916 strada (monoposto)which runs showa front forks and ohlins rear shock.
My question is this can anybody tell me what the factory setting is for the suspension please.
Preferably in easy to understand format as I'm a bit thick when rebound and compression etc. The bike tends to bounce when going through sweeping corners. I dont have an owners manual so I can't refer to that.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
John

You can down load owners manuals from the ducati website unfortunately they do not go back to 1994 but they may help.

Has the suspension ever been serviced? at 11 years old it may be just old age:(

well, firstly welcome to the most useful and best supported Ducati club!!

There is a thread that has a link to a superbike site for setting up your suspension, I am sure someone will be along soon with it for you. You could try a search for suspension settings and you may find it that way. Sorry cant help more - technically innept you see.

your second post......:lol::P:lol:

nope, its his first post .. his 2nd is the one a few posts down from the start of the thread, hence a post count of 2 at the minute ...... :frog:

John, depending on where you are theres bound to be someone local that can help or a suspension centre we can send you to .. I use HM Racing in Orpington ....

So fill in your profile and we'll get on the case .. you may find that spending a little money on a set-up is the best money you,'ve ever spent on the bike .. it was for me ...
