Aw thanks guys... I'm trying to find a 2nd disc that matches the first one just for cosmetics. I have 2 but they're different carrier patterns, and also different weight which i'm not sure will affect the handling.

If there's a 320 disc floating about with the right pattern then my wallet is yours!

or the one with the round holes in the carrier, but I don't have a pic of that one.

I've got the original disk off my dark that you can borrow. I'm fitting a pair of 748 disks to mine.

Tim

NBs996 08-Mar-2005 21:47

Tim, the original off your dark should be the one I'm after.
Can I borra it 'till. october?
Can you bring it to Cadwell??

I'd be quite greatful!

moto748 08-Mar-2005 21:54

What's different about "748 discs"?

I thought they were all basically the same, just sime have a slightly different carrier pattern.

I'm asking cos mine need replacing soon.

You can borrow it if you find me a dark tank to buy!!!!! ;)

NBs996 08-Mar-2005 21:58

Some are heavier than others, so it affects the gyroscopic forces what try to keep the bike upright. Lighter discs allow for slightly faster steering.

I'm keeping an eye out for one tim... have been for a while.
It's the thought that counts, right?

NBs996 08-Mar-2005 22:03

What's wrong with the tank on the bike Tim? Are you just after a spare??
