I is with Ck - well I think I am - And i still don't know if i gotta wear a dress :o please say I don't have to Ck - thats more scary than racin :puzzled: |
Fordie, Joanna and I are both coming so maybe we can get on the same train? I'll ring you nearer the weekend or e-mail as my U2U isn't working either so it must be a general fault. And we don't drink beer! So that'll be 2 lge glasses dry white wine for starters. And we're not making it a late night. Why would we, out in London with a load of Ducati fans. No, no, home early for cocoa, us! (where have I heard that before!) :saint::saint: |

Party dress? - oh yes Lin:devil: Nah - smart trousers for me & top. Waterloo is a big station Lin - Zimbo will know - but if I get hold of Clint this week, we might settle on meeting at an eaterie nr the Haymarket. Will let you know as soon as I do! C:) |

A suit? Sheesh .... |
Quote:
Riiiiiiight ... I haven't worn a suit since my first day at BP - over 2 years ago ... Accenture used to make us wear them every day. Anyone up for watching the rugby somewhere in the afternoon? |
Quote:
Glad to see you guys have your priorities straight...booze and lecthing after the ladies........and there was me thinking this was a celebration of the " ducati "motorcycle and the passion of racing.!!............guess not..... :P:devil: ps U only got 2 suits weeksy !! a clown suit and the buuurfday suit and lets pray to all thats holy that u dont wear the buuurfday suit. :bouncy: |

Not sure what the odds are for me being able to pronounce Ducati by launch opening ... ;) So, you coming to watch the rugby then? Or is that not your bag? I was thinking somewhere like The Walkabout Covent Garden but am open to suggestions ... |
what time is kick off tony.........im comming down with 4 others but would be good to have a pint and watch the rugby.? Phil |

Kick off is at 3:30 |
Wales V Ireland This is a chance for Wales to win the grand slam. How much I like her depends on a)what she looks like (shallow, me??) b) how many stupid questions she asks at inappropriate moments during the game and c) how many beers she gets in. HTH ;) |
Quote:
That could mean she looks like anything! Quote:
Good, should be able to watch the game then. Quote:
I'd prefer it if she got some beers in and keeps the knockers stashed away. TP, wants to watch the game |
Quote:
LMAO Class reply.................... |
I can't make the launch evening now. I've got company for the whole weekend, although if it had been on the Saturday afternoon, I would have popped in for a few hours. Ah well, I'm sure I'll have fun without ya :) |
Quote:
It's life Jim but not as we. .. Sorry, well we're going to watch the WALES game so MAYBE your company would be interested? And it's in the afternoon ... 3:30 kick off, you know you want to. |
Quote:
Now that will be a weak-end will it? |
so, thats 8 of us for scoff first - anyone else? C:) |
Quote:
What and where are you scoffing? |
Quote:
yeah im sure myself firefly 4d revs and guest will attend if we knew where and when ..lol Phil... |
Just waiting Clint to come back with name of place (is an Italian - how apt - close to Haymarket) - unless anyone else recommends somewhere accessible for a herd of manic ducati people:lol: - if more than about 10 of us, I'd suggest we meets at scoff place for about 7? C :) |
Sorry Tony, I'm not into egg chasing :D I'm sure she'll keep an eye on the score but not fussed about watching it when she could be.....ahem. |

sounds good although 7 may be cutting it a bit close..we have talk rubbish on bikes for at least 45 mins then decide what to order a further 45 mins that takes us to 8.30 before we have eaten and then staggered to the cafe,.? Phil :biaggi: [Edited on 14-3-2005 by fil2] |
OK, heads up: Location is open from midday. DLS/DSC event is on the top floor FROM 8.30 - no entry to that beforehand. Suggestion? We meet in the ground floor bar at/from 7pm as bar meals are available - if anyone doesnt like the menu, we mosey off up the road to a little Italian for pasta at 7.30. This ok with one & all? sample scoff 1; http://www.thesportscafe.com/docs/Buffet_Option_01.pdf sample scoff 2: http://www.thesportscafe.com/docs/A_La_Carte_Menu.pdf [Edited on 14-3-2005 by CK and AK] |
I've always wondered......do buffalos have wings? :puzzled: |
Well, I will make my way from where ever I end up watching the rugby over to the sports bar (they have pool tables too! at least I think I remember pool tables ... ) at whatever time and then everything else will happen around me. May go somewhere else to eat though, I reckon I'll feel like Thai. How's that for a plan? |
Quote:
Sounds great..........at the sportscafe for about 6- 7 ish... then...eat there or go get thai...or italian...... Phil plus other 4 are in agreement :borg: |
Looks like we have a Plan ,well done ,See you all there. 1800/1900pm for cocktails:bouncy: 4D |
Looks fine, should see ya there. Karen, Rob and I think PeteB coming up by train from Alton. ![]() |
I've just realised where the Sports Cafe is. I've been past that loads of times and thought 'that looks like fun'. In which case, will try to drag no. 1 daughter up there for early evening drinks as per Fordie. :D |
Theres a plan ? See you there then :) |
Quote:
Ruth you are a brave mother with this lot ....;) Just as a note, - this is DSC event, - don't let anybody think it is just a Desmo Due people only, although as I said at the AGM Desmo Due is for the entire club, it's a spectator sport! |

I could take lessons off Jo on how to handle men. Trust me, I am not worried!:lol: |
