Carb Oil heating pipes

I have just fitted a different engine into my 600SS and it came with Dynojetted carbs that use the oil heating circuit to stop the carb Icing. My intention is to fit the float bowls off my original carbs. So what I want to know is what is the best thing to do with the oil pipes from the engine.
a, I could just blank them
b, I could just loop them
C, I could try nd fit a oil cooler between them

Any thoughts on the above please.

Ruth how long did you rack your brain for to come up with that answer. :frog:

If you could use them to hook up an oil cooler then surely that's the way to go. Seems like something to take advantage of.

Hmm yeah but its only a problem at low rpm.You guys will be WFO most of the time,............apart from the Cadwell woodland hairpin!:o:o:o:):):D:D:lol::lol:
What you need is a splash of Silkolene Pro FST in the tank.:eureka:

pro FST with shell advance petrol carb icing is history plus feels like a slight power gain when using shell advance - any one else noticed this???

I think I'd be tempted to just blank 'em off for the mean time - using the 'keep it simple' rule!

good luck - Frank

Kev - any of them would be ok.

Mine are blanked off already, but I have a mind to fit an oil cooler if it looks like hot weather later in the summer.

oh, and Pro fst is usually a great idea on the road, but the rules dont allow for it - no additives.

Thanks Alan
After I got home from work today I was already to swap the float bowls for a set that haven't got the Banjos, but after removing thenm from the carbs and seeing that the space inside was still occupied by the casting for a oil-way I decided to leave the oil fed float bowls in place. I removed the banjos and link pipes and have joine the crankcase oil feed pipe to the return pipe using the on off tap for now.
I haven't yet heard this engine running so I have gone for the simple solution that will stop oil spewing over the floor when I eventually get the bike ready to fire up whenever that may be.
