One of my sponsored riders is in the Supertwins on a Ducati this year doing MRO.

Popping up for this sunday racing. Anyone else going?

I may be able to get there as well, some of the guys I know are doing GP250's this year in MRO.
Andy Sawford will be there with his new RS250 H0nda, fully kitted with HRC parts and 95 rwbhp!

Will hopefully see you there aswell then Monty! With the new MRO format over 2 days could be interesting races. Some get 2 races on the sunday as far as I can see (125GP/250Gp and 2 others).

That's interesting-I thought that the MRO were going for practice Saturday and 1 long race Sunday for the GP classes to align with the actual GP's.

Had a text from Jays mum earlier. First race on Duke after minimal testing. Qualified in pole ahead of 2 BSB riders. Then in first race managed 2nd in between the two BSB riders.

Can't wait for tomorrows race now!!!!!!!!

Jay came 2nd in first race on sunday and broke lap record. Beaten by Michael Pensavalle who is BSB(??). Then in second race of the day Jay had a crap start and was down to 9th at one point but battled up to 5th and catching 4th when front went into Graham Hill. Strange seeing it as he was going to right and front went left. Same place his team mate went off in race 1 (Steve Iles).

Under new rules it appears his position and points depend on his overall position over 2 races. ie. 20 points would put him about 6th overall for day so he gets 6th place points which would be 12(??) or maybe x2?

I didn't realise you sponsor Jay as I actually had a chat with Steve Iles up near garage 2 when he was om walkabout .. didn't know they were racing together until i got shown a program just as I was leaving ...

What happened to Steve in Race 2 as he was quite close to Jay ...

Steve did not start 2nd race after crashing in 1st (same place Jay did).

Jay did very well and after first race Pennsevalles spanner man (Ray Stringer no less) told him he was a natural talent and should be in BSB now. Downside was he said it would cost £50k!

Dibble, I think I must have had phone problem as no more calls came in and I was holding the phone in my hand. Also when I tried you I got engaged all the time.

I will be at silverstone in May for MRO, and BSB Thruxton, Mallory and Brands. I still owe you a beer!

Yep. First race on duke 998RS after limited testing. Everyone who I have spoken too were well impressed. Bridgette says she had a good chat with Ray Stringer and he was singing his praises greatly.

Jay was expecting top 10 not pole, 2 seconds and a crash! When he passed his team mate in race 1 sunday (who has 35bhp more and more experience) he left him for dead. If he hadn't had such crap starts in both races then maybe a win would have happened.

Jay did have a race in supertwins last year for Riot racing. On a Mille R 4 races - 2 dry and 2 wet I think - 3 wins and a third. The class was in with open up to 1300 and one race he won the race overall too!

Brands R6 cup qualifying Daniel 8th and Ross 22nd. Daniel .7 down and Ross 1.7.
