anodising is this an expensive process? small items. [Edited on 16-3-2005 by adam] |
had my yokes done recently about £10 but did not like the finish so had em powder coated. Much nicer |
Starter Kits from around 100-150 pounds if means to do it yourself.:puzzled: |
For me it used to be very cheap. Local company would do cash jobs, very nice too. Recently got caught with the new "minimum price -- lets just do the paper work" Ouch. Take a look in your yellow pages, wander in and see if they'll fit you in for a few notes. Rgds Rob [Edited on 17-3-2005 by rob41b] |

only want my rearsets done, well just the parts which bolt onto the frame, not the foot pegs. ill look in the book for a company. thanks chaps. |
Get it done by hard anodising. The more common anodising will rub off fairly quickly. |
Adam Can you let us know if you find anywhere local to you? I need something done and I'm not a million miles from Biggleswade. Thanks Andrew |
Adam u2u CK & AK as AK had loads done for his Monster and has a guy that does a good job. What color you going for ????? |
Cheers Dibble ill do that,I just want them in black. |
With anodising you must remember that the finish on the part to be anodisied wil show through the colour, so the prep is very important. |

wow it must be really important if you have to say it twice:lol: |
Adam, I've used a company called Protech Finishing Ltd in Northampton, Tel: 01604 792163. You want to speak to Andy Adams. They do work for the F1 industry and really know their onions. They'll strip any old anodising and redo in colour/finish of your choice, very reasonable and very fast turn-around (from memory, less than a week including posting both ways).
