quick action throttles
 

Remember the posts a while ago..well iv found this little devil ;)

I just used the std 998 one, with a bit of jiggery pockery........67degrees of movement, as apposed to 90 something...........

Andy, did you do it yourself? Was it easy? What does the "jigger pockery" involve?

Ah ha haaaaa!! I thought it was easy.......... I think Pro twins charge around £150................

998 throttle bodies are ok if you want to only run one cable and butcher the standard one, id rather spend £150 :D

works allright on the 996, 998.............

Horses for corses mate, id rather just do the job right ;)

£150 squid aint exactly breaking the bank,saves all the hassle of removing tank etc + you get 3 different cams to play with :frog:

Why would you want one? For the road? you're having a larf, ain't ya.

The thing is it aint a larf. If you want to open the throttle, you end up having two bites at the throttle grip, with the std 90 degrees of movement!!

didnt we have this discussion last time...I thought we all agreed its down to the size of your willy :D

I think I have this fitted and it is good, but you still need to remove the tank and put the new cables on, as the existing cables don't fit into the throttle

look at the picture on the site and compare it with the original fitting, it is completely different

getting the tank of is easy, getting the airbox lid off is a real *******

once you have the lid off, fitting thec cables is easy

No seriously...tank off is easy, dont try to remove the air box top in situe, its far easier to undo the two inlet clamps and remove the complete box along with throttle cables and pipes......... then you can take the top off and alter to your hearts content!!;)
