Is this something to do with Mav !!

Just how much bling can you get on a bike :lol::lol:

antonye 07-Apr-2005 10:33

AAAaraaararaaarrggg! My eyes! My eyes! :o

Harv748 07-Apr-2005 10:38

Well they are not Ohlins Road and track forks for starters...why all that bling but no radial master cylinders?

Lots of trick looking bits...but also lots of tat...

Chaz 07-Apr-2005 11:28

Looks like he lives in a nice house to.

JPM 07-Apr-2005 11:43

What's all the gold about?

That thing looks awful, it's got some nice bits which would be great, but he's just gone OTT, and the starting price is a joke, he'd be better putting the thing back to near standard and selling the parts.

keefer 07-Apr-2005 11:49

THE BEST DUCATI 916 STRADA YOU'LL HAVE SEEN
er if your names stevie wander.
total miss mash.
and at that price I bet it don't get 1 bid (just my opinion)

nathanhu 07-Apr-2005 12:28

BDG 07-Apr-2005 13:17

748mart 07-Apr-2005 13:31

I can't wait to see what he'll do to a 999r

jobr 07-Apr-2005 14:57

I thought Kenny Everet was dead.

That really is in the worst possible taste!

ericthered40 07-Apr-2005 18:33

As a serious Bling lover I would just like to say.
Here we are dealing with a C***

crm250 07-Apr-2005 19:11

Could just be my TFT monitor, but those rearsets look made from MDF

fatduke11111 07-Apr-2005 20:17

...quality bit of shagpile carpet too.... musn't laff....bless....:D

deej 07-Apr-2005 20:28

some of its nice ...................... i'll get me coat

WICKED
I love bling too
but BLONG is the only word to describe it.

dave w 07-Apr-2005 21:27

Could be tempted with chopping the R in against this .... And around £15k

nelly 07-Apr-2005 23:09

They might be genuine Termi stickers, but the cans are more like Blue Flames...................
Not sure about the "i've done this and serviced every year for 7 years" and then the "i'm selling it for a friend"............

Not nice. and £9k....................... not going to sell i'm afraid:sniff:

Didn't read all the crap first time around.
Does seem very strange that he owns it at first and has done everything then its oh Im selling for a mate, any questions I will get back to you? What, 2 mins ago he is the trained main man with all the tools - what could he not answer?

Calling all the techies start firing away at him, lol.

nelly 07-Apr-2005 23:36

take a closer look.................. those Dymags have got "Marchesini magnesium" stickers on them ???? In fact there's soooo many stickers on them they're probably as heavy as 3 spoke Brembos now.
The other interesting bit is the engine.................... it's got a 916SP lump fitted now?
Now if i had one of the rarest, most powerful stock motors pre 'stretta, tucked away in a "special", i'd be making more noise than "oh yeah, btw, it's got a SP engine"
and finally..............what the hell is that seat unit off?:mad:

deej 07-Apr-2005 23:40

the seat unti is the qb carbon moto gp unit i think

do you think he's just downloaded the photos from a website and started talking crap or is he just genuinely messed up

dave w 07-Apr-2005 23:42

I think he needs help :o

deej 07-Apr-2005 23:44

think i'll ask him a few questions about the bike and see what reply i get

does anybody on here not know of this bike, surely it must have been built/modified through people like jhp/tecmoto/cornerspeed or whoever

those bling bits cant all have been from ebay

deej 07-Apr-2005 23:51

ive just realised hes only 25 minutes away from where i live so have asked to view it for a laugh

now i always watch out for ducatis and ive never seen this one around,i did see something similair a year ago if i remember correctly but it wasnt covered in all those stickers then

why have all the panels apinted and updated then leave the mid fairing standard, strange

nelly 07-Apr-2005 23:53

'scuse me!!!! there's no way you'd get me doing that to a Ducati :o

"the customer may always be right, but sometimes you'd have to draw a line"...........:P

ericthered40 08-Apr-2005 00:35

Sadly he has managed to acquire a Tecmoto clutch cover. So if anyone goes and see this bike can they kindly reclaim it. :(

Desmondo 08-Apr-2005 09:13

It's just goes to prove the old sayig : It doesn't matter how much money you've got, you can't buy style.

deej 08-Apr-2005 21:08

sorry nelly but he could have been a phone customer like i am or WAS

i have my reply for you all to try and understand and i may be tempted to go and have a look, just out of curiosity now

Hi Dave, Yea I was advertising the bike as if the actual owner was selling it, as the owner has not got a computer I have placed the advert it for him, I don't half make thing sound confusing but basically its my friends bike and I have been asked by him to place it on Ebay, you can view the bike at any time after 3pm Mon to Thurs (he works the night shift)and at any time Friday and the weekend, Ring Jim on his mobile 07854961512 and discuss with him a viewing time to suit you, and yes he does have the V5 doc's.
P.S. He lives in the Woodford area of Plymouth
