And you :D

We're all in inters on desmo due monsters.

revdecal 19-Apr-2005 12:25

Ill be in the inters too on the 749 with my mate (748) and another (rsv mille).

Should be a good dry day!

We are racing there next weekend so I'm just tyring to learn which way the track goes, not having been there before.

And a good chance to get out on the bikes for a bit more track time. It'll be my first run with the belly pan fitted so I'm keen to see how ground clearance is affected.

dickieducati 19-Apr-2005 12:31

you got a ride height adjuster anyway havnt you ?

dickieducati 19-Apr-2005 12:32

revdecal,

i think i am right in saying we are all staying over on the friday night if you want to meet up for a meal .

Yeah I do, but I have a good balance that I'm comfortable with at the moment so I'd prefer to not have to change it. If I have to though I will.

Dave isn't staying overnight, he's going to leave at 0'dark hundred to get up there for the morning.

Crazy man!

revdecal 19-Apr-2005 12:36

Very kind of you Dickie but we're travelling up on the saturday :(

We will have to meet up when we are there though. I was going to ask if you needed a lift anyway seeing as you are local.

TP, I used to race myself so if you want to follow for a couple of laps to see the lines then you are more than welcome.

I'll be on the shiny bike this weekend so i wont be pushing it!

If I can keep up I'd love to have a look. I'm mainly focussing on the corners involved in the Woodlands circuit and getting those sussed.

:o

I wouldn't dream of such a thing!

;)

revdecal 19-Apr-2005 12:43

The woodland section is ok for the lines, but it is virtually impossible to get past so you can hold everyone up anyway through there.

You want to look at the faster flowing corners (double apex right at top of start finish straight) and the right hander leading to the gooseneck.

These are the areas that can really gain you some time!:D

Believe me,i'm not fast at the moment and i'll be showing my mates around too so you're more than welcome.:D

TP 19-Apr-2005 12:46

Our first race is on the Woodlands circuit and I'll be back on the Cadwell full circuit before we race it at the end of the year. I didn't want to try and do too much and just worry about nailing down the stuff we are racing on in a week and a half!! :o

revdecal 19-Apr-2005 12:50

Oh, got you!

I didnt realise anyone raced on the Woodland section anymore, apart from super motards.

As long as we all enjoy ourselves and keep it rubber down, bubble up!:D

DAVE HARRIS 19-Apr-2005 15:25

Dickie, I always get up at an ungodly hour plus I will have at least 10 tins of red bull by the time I get there so should be virtually rabid!!.

seriously I cant do it any other way but you could do me a favour and if im not there by 7.30 am let the organisers know I will be there!!

dave

whos bike is still in bits and the bodywork wont fit and the footrests are disconneted etc etd etc

ali 19-Apr-2005 16:22

I was there on Monday and back again on 9 May with No Limits. I know one DD entrant who was doing sub 1.45 on a bike that was not yet set up, so that's your target boys - best of luck:lol:
