Hero\'s of Desmo Duo

As the time gets nearer for the 1st round of Desmo Duo I would like to say so far their has been a very good attitude from all of the DSC riders taking part, people have shared idea's, shared experiances, helped out getting refindments for the DD bikes not only for them selve but for fellow competitors. I hope this will be in keeping with the whole series. It will be a tribute to each and every one of you who will be riding this DSC event, for that is how I see it , a true example of the kind of person that the original team, that set up the DSC must of had in mind. Go out there and give it all you've got ,have fun, be competitive, keep clear of the red mist and all ways share a beer with your mates afterwards how ever the day goes. Good Luck and I hope you get what you richly deserve after the efforts that you put in . Regards 4D

I can only agree with the above sentements. The last six months has been frenetic to say the least, but it looks as if we will get there this Snday with a full grid and a lot of nervous riders, I cant wait.

I agree 100%

I've had a great time with other riders in this series so far and everyone has been really helpful. I'm really looking forward to getting into it and enjoying the racing and the paddock.

It will be great to have the support of the club throughout this series - and of course I won't feel any added pressure from you all looking on. Or maybe I will, I forget.

Of course I'm quite relaxed about the whole thing - as the attached photo I've just taken with my phone will attest.

yep - best of luck to every one of you and most of all, enjoy it.

see you Sunday:)

Nice comments there fordie.
For me, so far, it's been an extension of the whole experience of the last year and an arf in the club... there's always always someone asking for help or advice and it's always forthcoming, be it in the garrage, on a rideout, at a track day, and now at a track day with elbows and knucke dusters!

What's it like to be nervous anyway?

I hope the spirit of the series follows the way rugby is played rather than the football approach.

Football, it seems to me,is played by prima donnas that are still waving their handbags as they go down the tunnel.

n my experience, rugby is played hard, aside from 'professional' fouls is usually fair, but the key thing is that any animosity is left on the field. Once the losing and winning side applaud each other off the field, everyone goes and has a drink and a laugh together.
