Who is ready for the weekend?

I've been shopping today and will be for a few more days I think.

Today I've bought:
  • Respro slick suit - waterproof thingy
  • tent
  • groundsheet
  • extra poles
  • mallet
  • jerry can and pourer thingy
  • fire extinguisher
  • 512MB mini SD card for my phone - now an MP3 player (SPV C500)
  • lined up a helmet and gloves cheap (for ACU license holders - u2u for details)

Heaps still to buy on the list and packing will commence on Thursday.

What about you - seasoned campers? Got nothing, no idea what you should even be taking? How are you shaping up?

That's not another "Power Commander" accessory is it?

I don't think you're allowed to take mobile phones on track, better check the ACU handbook :D

domski 25-Apr-2005 22:03

Oh, and all I'm missing for Cadwell is...

...a bike!!! :puzzled:

Why don't you just string some wool from each earring and pull it tight - that'll keep your chin warm.

You'll pioneer the helmet without a helmet look!!

Already packed.
Got all the above except mp3 player!

Just got to get a trolley load of food to take, load up the bike and strap the mechanic in some free space in the van.

DON'T FORGET TO CHARGE YER TRANSPONDER!!!

domski 25-Apr-2005 22:06

I knew I shouldn#t have started down that slippery slope twice in one day.

You win ;)

Besides, I can do 36's around Brands in the snow

I just finished to rub the tank. Hope to be able to paint it tomorrow morning, then petrol resistant laque for wednesday morning and I will try to fit it wednesday night. Of course I won't manage to do it, so I hope some DD racers will be ok to help me to fit it... before sunday. Of course I'll take a lot of wine with me. All of you drunk on the track is my only chance :)

Rear tyre should be fitted today and that should be me ready apart from filling the Jerry can, the diesel in the Van (not the bike Paul) and some food and drink.
Should be heading up Saturday morning to get there at lunchtime.
Senna3's bike was having the finishing touches last night, I took some nice pics of it with my camera phone then as I rode home my phone popped out of my pocket and was ****ted by a car.
Still works sort of but needs anew screen.
I have managed to turn the Bluetooth on so I hope to post the pics of Senna3's bike tonight.

louigi 26-Apr-2005 21:38

Were running a bit late down here in Bristol. I just got Domski's pistons in and the heads on after a major deck height problem. If you think he's panicing you want to see me, I got less hair than i had last week. Should be wired tomorrow and running by Friday.

antonye 26-Apr-2005 21:58

Is there a race this weekend? :puzzled:
