Twinfan 25-Apr-2005 23:11

adam 26-Apr-2005 17:50

we need our own section me thinks.
you are doing well with your collection bb. I have 21 now, started two weeks ago, and well hooked.

Dave have you seen the foggy 2000 on ebay?
If anyone sees a Hodgson 2002 please let me know.

JPM 26-Apr-2005 17:53

21 already within 2 weeks!

How much bling could you have bought instead of all that??? :o

adam 26-Apr-2005 18:02

Well my 996R has been blessed with PFM superbike kit, clutch/brake brembo radial master cylinders, JHP slipper clutch, full track day body work including tank. Now i think it is my turn to be blessed with as many minichamps as possible.:D

Jasper 26-Apr-2005 18:13

Does anybody know the difference between a WDW Bayliss and the normal 2002 one?

Twinfan 26-Apr-2005 19:19

Nope, but there's probably not a lot!

Adam - I've seen the Foggy 2000 on eBay cheers. I'm waiting for Deej to get back to me about his mate's too.

deej 26-Apr-2005 19:33

i think the wdw bayliss is the one with marlboro graphics as it was released in italy they wre able to do that !!!

has anyone else seen the camel graphics kits on ebay for the rcv, wonder if you can get the marlboro kit too

Twinfan 26-Apr-2005 19:37

Adam - 2002 Hodgson on eBay ending soon! 7316756684

Twinfan 26-Apr-2005 19:38

Another one in Singapore: 6951618554

deej 26-Apr-2005 19:42

right then as this is the main thread now i have some news on my mates models.

one of his workmates has advised him off the cost/value of these models and his prices ahve gone up, i think the internet should be banned from all work places. i thought i had them on the cheap as he need some extra spending money for france but unluckily hes now seen the true value.

this is what he wants for them

reynolds 2000: £165.00 hes seen the damaged one at £130
hodgson 2000: £250.00
foggy 2000: £120.00
hodgson 2003: £150.00

bit unrealistic i think but if i cant sell tham to you guys on here for close to that then he'll probably keep them

what do you guys think, sorry if ive built anyones hopes up :flame:

Twinfan 26-Apr-2005 19:51

Quote:

reynolds 2000: £165.00 hes seen the damaged one at £130

Overpriced. I paid £125 for a brand new one in the box.

Quote:

hodgson 2000: £250.00

Over priced. £175ish is reasonable.

Quote:

foggy 2000: £120.00

He's taking the pi55!!! One went on eBay recently for £72 and I've been offered a brand new one for £80.

Quote:

hodgson 2003: £150.00

Again, taking the pi55. I've been offered a brand new one for £70.

adam 26-Apr-2005 19:57

I think deej's mate has over priced them because he isnt fussed about selling, and if someone gave him his price then obviously its worth letting them go.
no harm in that.

I think he will be keeping them. ;)

adam 26-Apr-2005 20:03

how much did the Hodgson go for?

Twinfan 26-Apr-2005 20:29

Didn't sell. No bids. It was a starting bid of 59 Euros (£40). Try the singapore one, they have a few in stock (23!) and are $75 (£40).

adam 26-Apr-2005 20:42

adam 26-Apr-2005 22:20

thanks Jason, that model works out nearly £60 with postage, think ill wait for one closer to home.

Jason, is it possible to have armed guards acompany the Hodgson to my house.

Mr_S 26-Apr-2005 23:07

Hmmm, not so sure..

I'll make a call. :ninja:

Otherwise it's Special Delivery. I'll pack it up tomorrow, after 've found some bubble wrap.

deej 26-Apr-2005 23:10

Jason, is it possible to have armed guards acompany the Hodgson to my house.

:D:D:D:D:D:D

anyone would think you didnt trust our ROYAL mail service.

apparently my mate had been viewing the site anmonously and seen what prices have been quoted so thought he'd get me to get as much as possible for them.it seems to be a sellers market at the moment. i think he'll try ebay now and see what happens or he may just keep them as hes not ebays greatest fan.

i saw that guy in singapore listings but have never seen him on ebay before, do ebay stores have their own section ????

Mr_S 27-Apr-2005 00:08

Deej, your mate could make a tidy price on the bay. I think BB set the mark with the last one and there's one on there at the moment at £157 with 5 days to go and not all the bidders from the previous one are in there yet.

That one could get sniped as one bidder is setting lower proxies than previous atempts......

baylissboy 27-Apr-2005 09:55

Hi guys, finally got an answer from the seller i tracked down!!

Not as good news as i thought,he had the Bostrom 2000,but not the Bayliss(shame, jasper is gagging for this one)!!:(

I ended up buying the Bostrom 2000,Reynolds 2000,Foggy 99 & a Foggy 2000!!

I'll re-sell the two Foggy's & i've been promised a Reynolds 2000,so i could let one of them go!!

Anybody interested?

Twinfan 27-Apr-2005 10:49

BB - how much for the Fogarty 2000???

Steve M 27-Apr-2005 10:56

BB u2u - 1999 foggy

Twinfan 27-Apr-2005 11:02

twentytwo - make sure you get a reasonable price! There are loads of 1999 Foggys about as they re-released it...

Steve M 27-Apr-2005 11:08

no probs twinfan, I know BB very well.

and for anyone else interested, he can be trusted 100%

Twinfan 27-Apr-2005 11:14

Cool :biaggi:

Wylie1 27-Apr-2005 12:11

Has anybody imported any models from the US?

Do I have to be concerned with any import taxes, etc? If so, how much would I have to pay?

Twinfan 27-Apr-2005 12:16

I've not done it, but I did buy some parts for my RSV from the US. If I remember correctly, you have to pay VAT and import duty. The duty varies depending on what's being imported.

You could always get a friend to send you something from the US as a present?

Mr_S 27-Apr-2005 13:15

The present / gift thing is irrelevant as the value limit on a gift is still only £36 max.

And you'd want it insured for more than that...

adam 27-Apr-2005 17:15

Result, the Hodgson 2002 in Germany has been relisted, could do with this one for my set.

Wylie I bought my steve martin from a place in Canada, no problems.

Twinfan 27-Apr-2005 17:18

Got my 2004 Haga and Haslam 999s today, and I've just ordered another 2003 Byrne (the last one was faulty). I'll get the whole BSB set in one place eventually!

adam 27-Apr-2005 17:21

have you got them dotted around the house then dave?

Twinfan 27-Apr-2005 18:20

Nah, on a nice shelf above my computer. I'll u2u you a pic once I've got the BSB sorted :)

JPM 27-Apr-2005 18:24

Must admit keep looking at the Haga/Haslam RS04's wonder if they'll bring any of the other colour/graphic schemes out as they ran several for the year, not too keen on the Highland Spring one, maybe one of the Koji ones

adam 27-Apr-2005 18:37

thats what puts me off of them, that big Highland spring graphic, thing is i will end up getting them.

Twinfan 29-Apr-2005 10:14
