snett with chi and ant It was my first track day for six years, Rogers first trackday ever, Ant’s first running in test and chickens first hesitant steps in to the study of small aggregate gravel. Mad day start to finish First session out on a duke and apart from some rather disconcerting judging under heavy braking in to the first right hander at the end of the start finish strait (same place were chicken furrowed his rather wide new line) things went well. My Plastics you will see were supplied courtesy of Ant and the paint finish he has achieved is very close to show standard so I had to be careful with them. Thanks again mate. Second session out and disaster my cousin roger on his first trackday bins it going in to the start/finish strait and I see him standing at the end of a rather large scuff mark all the way across the track. I felt gutted but luckily after survey, glue and duck tape; he was back out, well-done mate. I was Just getting settled back down and no chicken, session stopped no sine of him but as you will see else were, he didn’t come to much harm If that’s not got the Muppet then I don’t know what a mans got to do to get one. When we first saw the stills at the PC in the garage the whole place went up. F***ing blinding. Ant and chicken thanks for a great day. They must represent the real spirit of this DD series may god go with them on Sunday. As for me still buzzzzzin Ericthered40 well 42 but Fu** counting I stopped, I think the bikes are getting smaller. Pics of me if your interested The bum hole Snett [Edited on 27-4-2005 by ericthered40] [Edited on 27-4-2005 by ericthered40] |

class...........almost split my tea................... :D Phil |
Nice pics Eric-tell Roger not to worry about his off-lots of people lose it at that chicaine. I have seen a GP250 lose it on braking and slide right across the grass and rumble strip, back across the track and off on the other side-and he STILL got out for the second race............... John |
Thanks for your concern chaps. Drumstick is still upside-down (fat bit at the bottom). Getting a bit of movement back into it but to be truthful it's not looking that good for Cadwell at the moment. If I can get to the point where I can walk slowly without pain then I'll be there but I had a similar injury about 15 years ago that took longer than a week to heal. I appreciate that it won't be as satisfying to beat me on paper as in real life but there will be plenty of opportunities later in the year. |

My trailer is class! It was cheaper to buy than hiring a van for a single weekend and it works a treat! Proper budget racing! |
