3 tables, for those interested

The 3 points tables for DD

583
675
620

Simple eh :)

GsxrAge 10-May-2005 00:20

god dom lets hope you mend real soon :lol:

domski 10-May-2005 00:23

I think it's a very fair way of doing it, even if no-one else agrees.

I'll update it after each round, for those who do find it interesting.

I hope I get better soon too... More so in the head, than in the arm ;)

hmmm I think its a good idea. as this should be about cheap fun racing.

We got a monster 600 and it would stay standard if I could afford to race it.

I hope the big wiggs keep an eye on costs. as the big money budgets will keep winning and ultimatley kill the series..

I hope i'm wrong

3rd in Class and 7th overall,

or if it was done under the system I suggested last week under the posts regarding 620 Bigbore kits, then runners would only get half points due to the size of the grid, or classes with less than 10 starters should have a different points scale with a weighting factor or something.

A class scoring full points should at least have 10 starters

Bit awkward as Andy Johnson diserves full points but it is hard to justify say Ian & Nick being behind Mark & Lin

domski 10-May-2005 13:03

Surely the overall table would be the offical DSC table?

phil_h 10-May-2005 13:35

Yet another thought on a scoring system ...

there is a classic racing series called the Lansdowne Cup which encourages originality in the bikes by adding and subtracting points ...
http://www.lansdowneclassicseries.co...s%20system.htm

How about something like :

Plus 1 point
583cc
Standard cams
Standard pipes
Standard bodywork
Standard tank

Minus 1 point :
Fuel injection
Twin Discs
Ohlins

domski 10-May-2005 14:08

Plus 1 Point per race for each of the following:

19" wheels

:o:o:o:o:o

Nah, I think the points system is fine how it is :lol:

Rattler 10-May-2005 14:21

To create the "real" DSC champion, simply multiply the number of race points by the number of DSC posts!! ;)

Sorted.....................!!! :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

TP 10-May-2005 14:47

Request for you Dom - can you put the real championship points up on that page as well? Have four points tables?

domski 10-May-2005 14:55

ok

domski 10-May-2005 15:19

domski 10-May-2005 15:26

I think not, Rattler said multiplied by not added to, saying that TP is in a good position and i'm still on Zero points
