Done
If Will comes back he'll have to change his number, but he didn't race last year and no mention of him racing this year which means there is another 620 laid up somewhere

Ghost 06-Jan-2013 23:06

42 isn't on the list Kev or has Steve Hands still got it on retention??

Still reserved for him at the moment as he withdrew his bike from sale
and is transferable with the bike to a new owner if they request it

who had Spences #8 bike, maybe they wanted to retain the number

If the numbers are just the adhesive vinyl type then they are easy to remove/change but if painted on then the new owners often ask if they can retain the number

I thought 70 was still mine until I give it up?

No, it's available for Class A or Class B as it hasn't been used in those classes for a year and my understanding is your not going to be registering for Class A this year.
If Dallas or Andy don't use their numbers in DD this year they will become available next year, others have had there numbers passed on either with the bikes they sold or becasue they have sold their bike and stated they will not be returning to DD

Okydoky. Hope it's lucky for the new owner. :)

Aye up i have spence's old bike and shall be joining you fellows this year for the first time , i have asked for no 39 as it is my age :) well it was 13 years ago!

March will soon be here all i have to do is get a trailer, and give the bike the once over, i guess a track day is a good idea having never rode a Duke before or a twin for that matter, i am expecting light and nimble (not me ) compared to my last bike which was a very heavy earlystock 750 four. any of you chaps planning trackdays (uk} before Snetterton , which does seem a tad early in the year for bike racing. hey ho should be fun ,(gulp) at least when its over,

However, Mallory to Oulton is 90 miles

oooh - just seen this.....dipping toes into the murky waters of this race series as from....now! (Just paid for DSC membership minutes ago -terribly sorry for delay!)

soooo - i'd love to reserve number 70, or failing that, 57. Cheers!
