feeling horny ?

I cannot believe that some race goers are complaining ( or should that be moaning) about air horns at race meetings, these same people who are happy to listen to 30 or so race cans wailing round the track with the tannoy commentary echoing in the background, then race over and off to the bike park to ride home on their machine which they have spent a fourtune on making as loud as possible......i just dont geddit..:puzzled:

JPM 11-May-2005 18:41

What would you rather listen too? airhorns or 30+ race bikes at full chat howling round a circuit?

I know what I'd rather hear:rolleye:

swannymere 11-May-2005 18:44

:saint: People with airhorns should be slapped, especially the ones at the football. It smacks of look at me,love me,i need attention. In short the sort of people who watch reality tv and think Trisha is high brow.

I'll never forget the 2002 BSB at Donnington. Hizzy clinched the title as Emmett highsided right in front of us at the exit to the Foggy Esses.

During that meeting someone let an air horn off right in Fordie's ear. Fordie turned round to the culprit and as politely as he could said "LET THAT F****NG THING OFF AGAIN AND I'LL RAM IT UP YOUR F****NG A**SE":lol::lol:

It all went quiet after that. Good job too.

Airhorns should be labelled like packets of fags "WARNING. Repeated use of this device could result in severe rectal damage, injury or sudden death"

well, err, ok, points taken, but...i`m just afraid that banning the air horns might just be the start of it and it`ll end up like football, no standing, y`know, sit down, shut up, watch the game, bit of applause when there`s a goal etc........at the european races they let off fireworks and all sorts in the crowd.....maybe you lot should take your pipe and slippers to the gp this year and sit in a nice comfy chair doing the occasional fart.........but please do try to not enjoy yourselves to much, it might get a bit loud.......:D

I'm a season ticket holder at St.Mary's for my sins, stand when possible, sing, swear and shout all match, but i have to draw the line at airhorns, they are in the same category as Burberry baseball caps and Jordan, strictly for the chav's

That's interesting (but possibly not as interesting as why I am reading this particular thread!)

Fordie is NOTHING LIKE THE VICAR. Trust me on this one. I've known a few vicars in my time - ex-Sunday School Teacher that I am - Fordie doesn't come close. But I'm fascinated to know why you think he does :lol lol::lol:

Jewell 14-May-2005 10:19

LOL

nothing dodgy.......maybe its because he looks like the vicar that lives near me.

sparkin 14-May-2005 11:54

Not particualy fond of the air horns myself, but you should try a foriegn GP:o engines dragged up on to the banks abd ran flatout with little or no exhausts:o

swannymere 14-May-2005 13:33

:sing:do you think they'll let me into the football with it?:P

kwikbitch 14-May-2005 21:56

Yes mate, but that is fun!!!(in a kinda dangerous way, especially when the exhausts are used to ignite petrol for the flamethrower effect. As seen at Mugello '03)
