Rossi to F1 in 2007? |
Or maybe WRC ? |
The only thing, he'll need a super licence to race F1, which means he will have to race f3000 and be a top 5 finisher at the end of the season. Well, that is how it used to be. They don't just hand anyone an F1 car to play in! |

I think it will be rally as well. |
Ferrari Italain team, or Minardi |
More likely to be WRC I would guess. |
Rossi F1? Cant see it myself GPs to F1 Thats like going from skydiving to jumping off your bottom step. I cant see him enjoying M25 style racing.:) |
No i cant see it |
He is Natural rider/driver he'll do well in what ever he does.. |
Well last time in Fiorano he tested a Ferrari he went only 3.5 second slower than The track record made by Schumacher... He is a speed demon, but from two to four wheels there is a big difference. If they stay as for the rules, Flanks is right..but I know Italians well..:lol: ..they always find a way around.. Anyway the only way he has to get to a Ferrari is if his popularity remain untouched like is now..so he has to win other two championships with two wheels and looking at things right now.. even I hope will be in this way it will be not easy... |
Kimi Raikonen was given special treatment to get a super licence. All the team heavilly objected (mainly mclaren) , guess who later employed him? Yes mclaren. Rossi would be hot property due to the falling interest of F1 and the publicity. I just hope it happens . Doogalman |

5 years ago Frankie told me that Rossi would be F1 champion within 10 years, I will go with Frankie. I think Rossi will want it. |
Not a lot of truth in it according to Miss Perry. |
Sete would love Rossi to go to F1 too !!! ;) |

Rossi denies F1 rumour here |
Getting a superlicence won't be a problem if the Doctor goes this route. Two things are critical for the leap into F1. The right Team. The succesful teams in F1 are so much bigger. 500 people directly involved in some? If just one package element lets the team down you are toast. Tyres, engine, aero, finance, Speed. That might be obvious but the top teams are not going to want to take anyone, even Rossi unless they are competitive. Getting within a small percentage of the pace is a lot easier than finding the last bit that separates an "average" F1 driver from a consistent pace setter. WRC is IMHO the slightly softer option. Not so much at stake moneywise. It is still possible to compete as a so called privateer. Last weekend's Cyprus rally is a case in point. How the doctor will get on with some "sack of spuds" reading the notes to him is anyones guess!!, not quite the solace of Moto GP, man and machine alone on the circuit. Rossi has "dabbled" in both F1 testing and WRC but the days of jumping from bike to F1, or F1 to WRC and showing the field which way is up have long gone............................but maybe the Doctor is up to the challenge of proving this to be wrong. One thing is certain F1 needs some livening up, avid F1 follwing mates are starting to wake to to bike racing! Ray. |

Thats got to be the understatement of the year, watching someone throw-up is more exciting. and as for starting to wake up more like coming out of a coma. The car in front is A A A FERRARI WELL THATS A SURPRISE. |
I just don't see it happening, I think in the day and age in F1, power + speed and no race experiance in F1, maybe a season in F3000/F3. Although I still think if he was, WRC is where it will be. Although, it all could be Rossi PR bullsh*t. |
