How many entrants for CC?

Are we expecting a full field for CC?

If all the potential entries line up, it looks like there could be as many as 38 of us tripping each other up!!!

Hmmm... that could be fun :D

You're really missing out fella - this one's gonna be a scream, it all about who's bravest or stupidest!! ;) on the brakes.

You'll need all the cornerspeed and drive out of bends too, but there'll be a few who'll push things a bit far and might be taking up ploughing :)

I feel this will be a baptism of fire for me - not ever seen the track and you're all talking the need for big balls - I ain't got any :sniff:

( off to pharmacys - r us )

:)

TP 24-May-2005 22:21

Nick - mate you need to know where you're going for your power to weight advantage to be any good!

Lin - don't worry, you'll be fine. If in doubt, keep the throttle pinned!

Lin - dont worry, our strategy is this:

1. Bike still in bits, lots of bits, so many bits, that I am thinking - "was it ever a bike?" :puzzled:
2. AK off to Cadwell racing for entire bank hol w/end, so no re-assembly being done till at least Tues night.
3. We are out on Weds night
4. Late finish from work Thurs night for AK (and we are leaving Fri!)
5. Mark (rider) not done CC since track modified with chicane, hates it anyway - says too bumpy, and why the hell did he ask to ride it!
6. Riders record is drop it, blow engine, off road it - you name it!:o
7. Arrive in time to fix bike so as track worthy
8. Get out just in time to get a place on the grid - anywhere will do, just he's gotta keep it upright & engine still running by end of timed session:lol::lol:

anyone going over to the far corner on arrival to join me for a few bottles of anything?:o:o:rolleye:

C, rapidly thinking of taking up something more easy on the mind:barfy:

Scotty Monster 24-May-2005 23:11

out of interest assuming that the DD is runnign next year are there a limmited number of places available and are they all filled already ?

TP 24-May-2005 23:13

They're not all filled - you could do it if you were keen.

Get in there my son!

AK 24-May-2005 23:14

Scotty, I think I recall Chris Bushell mentioning that they weren't opening up for 2006 entries till at least the end of Sept.

Are you doing the Mallory trackday?

C:)

Lin have a chat with Tommy at llandow on Friday, he is instructing in the fast group and is one of the fastest guys I've seen around Castle Combe and should be able to offer some very good pointers

http://www.honda-racing.co.uk/twowhe...cle.asp?a=1534

His race time including the standing start lap averaged 1m 16.5 secs a lap which is rather quick
