Not a Ducati but a Very nice RG500 I have to say im well impressed with this. Love the rear view http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1 |
That is some awsome bike always wanted a RG500, hes certainly thrown some money at it.:o |
It's been spoiled by fitting a GSXR body... if it's a RGV500 rep, why not make it look like one at least. It just looks wrong... This looks right... ![]() :D:D:D [Edited on 31-5-2005 by domskidue] |
is that a RG500 engine in that RS250 ? Hmmmmm |
Yup and 127bhp!!!!!!!!!! It was built by a mate of Neil Ronketti (of BEMSEE fame) http://www.spirant.demon.co.uk ...a whole website all about the project. I'm good to you people, a whole nights reading :lol: [Edited on 31-5-2005 by domskidue] |
Ah my mate Sol. He's a nutter! |
The original design is still the best.............the RD500 and the RG500 are legendary bikes and i would love a minter for the garage....i had a brand new RD500........man i wish i had not crashed it.......................... :barfy:.. the days of power !straightline power! microns or allspeeds! boysen reeds! suspension wots that! tyres yeah i got them ..LOL...... the sound of those 4 pipes bubbling away......Just awesome.......... Phil |
I have a Marlboro RZV500R in the back of the Garage, The RVZ is a jap import version of the RD with an Ally Frame, tank and some magnesium bits. The bike is totally standard and still has the original (restricted) pipes on it, one day i'll treat it to a set of Jolly Moto's or Nikons to see what it should sound like;) |

Just found this pic of my 500 on the hard drive. Shame it dosn't show all 4 pipes. The colour is a bit deceiving as it's more orange than red. |
I had a 350Lc. This piccie doesn't do it justice though: |

What happened to the 2nd front disk? or is it a converted 250? |

allspeeds huh.?? LMAO at those spongy grips..i had them in black......OMG its all flooding back now............:D |
Yep it was a 250 with Stevens tuned 350 in it:devil: Allspeeds. Cracking exhausts. And yes those grips were certainly crap weren't they! |
Sorry to dissapoint gents but the Duke wil go before me RS250cc. This is 'the' track bike tool, the faces of the 'biger boys' when you stuff it past them, awesome. 2 stroke for ever ! Delooney [Edited on 1-6-2005 by Delooney] |
get a real 250 the RS is just a copy Suzuki ;) pucka two stroke below |
I must admit, it's a mighty fine machine you have there. But it does have four stroke design written all over it. However, the RC/NC30 is another story / evolution ! Enjoy the big 2-stokes before their gone forever... Delooney |

Yeah, that RGV is well tasty. I prefer the early ones with a pipe either side, mmmmmm. I must stop looking at this stuff, coz I can't afford anything and my wish list is getting longer every day :( Only 3 weeks until I go back to work :D |
