That is some awsome bike always wanted a RG500, hes certainly thrown some money at it.:o

domski 31-May-2005 20:00

It's been spoiled by fitting a GSXR body... if it's a RGV500 rep, why not make it look like one at least.

It just looks wrong...

This looks right...

I have a Marlboro RZV500R in the back of the Garage, The RVZ is a jap import version of the RD with an Ally Frame, tank and some magnesium bits.
The bike is totally standard and still has the original (restricted) pipes on it, one day i'll treat it to a set of Jolly Moto's or Nikons to see what it should sound like;)

748mart 01-Jun-2005 13:31

Just found this pic of my 500 on the hard drive. Shame it dosn't show all 4 pipes. The colour is a bit deceiving as it's more orange than red.

Ozz 01-Jun-2005 13:39

I had a 350Lc. This piccie doesn't do it justice though:

Ozz 01-Jun-2005 14:48

Yep it was a 250 with Stevens tuned 350 in it:devil:

Allspeeds. Cracking exhausts.

And yes those grips were certainly crap weren't they!

Delooney 01-Jun-2005 21:50

Sorry to dissapoint gents but the Duke wil go before me RS250cc.

This is 'the' track bike tool, the faces of the 'biger boys' when you stuff it past them, awesome.

2 stroke for ever !

keefer 01-Jun-2005 22:01

get a real 250
the RS is just a copy Suzuki ;)

pucka two stroke below

Delooney 02-Jun-2005 19:14

I must admit, it's a mighty fine machine you have there.

But it does have four stroke design written all over it.

However, the RC/NC30 is another story / evolution !

Enjoy the big 2-stokes before their gone forever...

Delooney

antonye 02-Jun-2005 20:35

Nice, I like that.

I used to love my RVF, and the RGV that came before it...

My old RVF

domski 02-Jun-2005 20:45

Yeah, that RGV is well tasty. I prefer the early ones with a pipe either side, mmmmmm.

I must stop looking at this stuff, coz I can't afford anything and my wish list is getting longer every day :(

Only 3 weeks until I go back to work :D
