I've been a Duc owner since 1998 916 bip That was nicked by some pleb in 2000 and due to insurance and deals (in a fit of madness) I purchased a sp1!!!!!!!!! bag of Sh#####t. sold that and in 2002 found a 5000 mile mint 888 Stada the bike of my boy/ teenage dreams. since then it has done 3000 miles been on numerous track days and been droped once (will I ever learn) anyway just posting so you all know there is another bike being loved and cared for.

Oh well, at least you found us. Welcome on board.

Someone will be along soon to explain to you how to post your pictures. I can't remember how as it's a while since I've posted any pics but it's not too difficult, otherwise I'd never have managed it.:roll:

As a Newbie, you may not be aware that Dibble is our resident Acerbic Wit, which is surprising considering he is also our resident doughnut muncher. You would think that much sweet would counteract the sour! :l:D;)

Its Sunday!!!
I don't yet know what the route will be . It's being organised by Andy (Yelloistwofriedeggs) who is from up your way. The guys from the central belt will be meeting up with Andy and his pals from Aberdeen at the Spittal of Glenshee at 11.00am (I think). I'll probably join them at Blairgowrie - it's nearer for me. From the Spittal the plan is to head up to Braemar then over the Lecht. from there on Andy has some route planned which he will reveal on the day.

Steve M 30-Jun-2005 17:41

is the picture on a web site?

pibbow 30-Jun-2005 17:46

no and all i'm trying to do is upload my avtar first can't even do that

Steve M 30-Jun-2005 17:54

make sure the avatar is a GIF or JPG and no more than 155x155 pixels, then using the BROWSE button it should load from anywhere - sometimes doesn't appear right away.

Photos need to be on a web site so that you type in the URL using the insert image icon

pibbow 30-Jun-2005 18:10

I tried to resize a pic but I did somthing wrong as all I ended up with was a small black picture as for loading it on to a web site how the hell do I do that. sorry by I about as much use as a chocolate Tea pot when it comes to pc's

You should be able to attach a picture from the reply screen , Just click browse just above post reply navigate to the desired pic then click post reply and that should be it though there might be a size limit for the pic (usually 200kb iirc ) to use a website you can either use your personal webspace if you have any or find a picture hosting site , never used one so cant help there but basically you upload the image then either click the img tab in reply (its a has a small picture of a mountain range on it 7th from the left ) from the options above the reply box and enter the url to the image there or add it using (img)http//www.picture.co.uk(/img) where http//www.picture.co.uk is the url for the pic and replace the () with [] if you get stuck for hosting email the pic to me on screwcutter@hotmail.com and I can host it for you .
