We seem to have an extra round !!
 

I've just got my regs for the rest of the season from New Era and I noticed that on their Snetterton Round 17th-18th Sept that the Desmo Due's have a race in the programme.

Is this something I didn't know about ?

I've rang New Era and as far as they seem concerned, unless they have made a mistake, we are getting a round at Snetterton the week after we do Brands :puzzled:

I've tried CB but no-ones at home.

Yes, I've heard tell that's often the case when the lights are on :lol: :lol: :lol:

:o I hope not - we have booked our hols around the meetings, and are s'posed to be away from the Fri night.

Also, more costs involved.... bother, I hope its a 'glitch' and its not correct

Have to say I quite fancy a bit of that myself seeing as it's a proper weekend racing like.
If it has been included by New Era and accounted for then I do hope we can keep it as an extra round :)

I would be happy with that, does it suggest we have two races on both the Saturday and Sunday

I don't think I want another 7 hour hike up to Snetty...

New Era have an Oulton meeting on the 16th July - why not do SOT ?

They got a meeting at Mallory on 21st August - gonna see what my laptimes are tomorrow and I may just venture into the SOT class there and hold them up for a change :lol:

still, its going to be an expensive month - 2 Sunday's consecutively racing:o Brands on 11th & Snottyton on 18th.

Makes for a really wide awake time on the Mondays at work :lol:

Up for this fo' sure! Any chance to thrash the wee beastie is welcome. The only questions I can see that need answering is, do we:

a) include the results
b) exclude the results
c) have a 'best six results from seven rounds' system

I, obviously, vote for the last but I'm happy either way as it's just another excuse to get some crash-time in! :lol:

Not that good as the KRC round needs factoring in. You would have to either:

A) double the points for the KRC round
B) do a best 11 race results out of 13 races, or
C) run around with bucket over your head

yep it's true ... sorry! .... but new era have made a mistake and there's no extra round on 18th september.... they got mixed up when originally we were doing brands on 18th but brands was moved forward a week and then they moved snetterton to the 18th ... simple !
