Whatever number they want to call you, it's great someone's paying attention to you... good work chap.
The local press don't want to hear about it around here!

AK 13-Jun-2005 21:09

unless its F1 McLarens, football or rugby, our local papers wont either:(

oh, & unless you are under 6 & a child prodidgy at some sport...

well done Dommie:D

domski 13-Jun-2005 21:10

All I did was get all the local newspaper email addresses (free papers too) and I will keep emailing them with a report and photo's (very important) and eventually they will print them.

I got them in a email group thingy on btinternerd, so it's only one email each time.

I like the newspapers better, coz at least you can cut it out and keep it :D

domski 13-Jun-2005 21:11

Oh, and the guy from the BBC even asked me if I would put their logo and a link to the BBC on my website :lol::lol:

...and he wants me to do a report for each round - there can't be much going on in Somerset!! :o

Public service at it's best :P:D

Y'know, that's a pretty damn decent picture is that. Good enough to grace the DSC calendar?
Looking good for the 05 lakes raid taking over the bbc galleries then?

Chris Wood 13-Jun-2005 23:47

As the 'real' rider of the number 10 bike, I'm not sure about all this attention.....

Well done Dom, imagine the press if we all did this sort of thing!

Domski,

Well done, just shows what can be done with some effort, no good just sitting around moaning about the the bills, get some publicity, and get someone else to pay 'em or a least chip in!

The local papers round here are only to happy to have something other than kick ball and whack ball. Local racers are in all the time. Write yer own stuff and send it with a picture and yer in.

Ray
