DOC 2013 Registration and Welcome Kit 2013

All,

We are proud to announce that the Ducati Sporting Club UK has once again been accepted to the Desmo Owners Club program for 2013!

Once again we are an official Desmo Owners Club, and all Club Members will be getting the exclusive DOC Welcome Kit for 2013 as well. The good news is that this year it contains a brilliant T-Shirt, along with other goodies, making it well worth while joining the Club!

To ensure that you get your welcome kit for 2013 you will need to be registered on the Ducati.com website and have the DSC marked as your Club. You can do this here: http://www.ducati.com/club/ducati_sp...ub_uk/index.do

You will also need to make sure that you have entered a t-shirt size so you get the right one. This feature is not yet available on the Ducati.com website, but once it is we will let you know so you can check that you are registered and that your information is up to date!

Please keep an eye out for more information over the next few weeks.

Nice one Ant.

antonye 07-Mar-2013 00:32

Ok, it's going to work like this... I have to collate all the t-shirt sizes. Yeah right. Herding cats would be easier!

What you need to do:
Get your favourite t-shirt that fits you nicely and lay it flat without stretching it.
Measure the armpit to armpit length across the chest, from the seam of one armpit to the other.
Compare it with the t-shirt sizes are below:

Mens Sizes
Small: 17.5" = ~38" chest
Medium: 19.5" = ~40" chest
Large: 21" = ~42" chest <-- You will get this by default!
X-Large: 22.5" = ~44" chest
XX-Large: 24" = ~48" chest
XXX-Large: 25.5" = ~50" chest

Women's Sizes
Small: 17" = Size 6
Medium: 18" = Size 8
Large: 18.5" = Size 10 <-- You will get this by default!
X-Large: 19" = Size 12-14

IF and ONLY IF you want a size that is different to LARGE, please PM me the size you want and we will amend your size order!

Don't ask me when they will arrive as (a) I don't know and (b) this is Italian organisation, so you'll be lucky if you even get a t-shirt, let alone one in the size you ordered!!

Any idea what colour the T shirt is Antony, if its mainly white I would hate to go for one that fits over the leathers, they start looking cak in no time

No sorry - don't even know what the design is let alone the colour!!

All the presidents around the world had a pack of 10 t-shirts turn up, one of each size, with no note, no email or anything else! It was only because it had the club name that we all figured out what they were for.

Col996s 08-Mar-2013 19:32

I'm a default me.

Ghost 10-Mar-2013 17:55

Default for me too please.

Link doesn't work!

antonye 05-Apr-2013 16:20

The page has moved here:
http://www.ducati.com/doc/desmo_owners_club/index.do

But it seems that you can't register through that way any more!

You may be able to do it by registering on the Ducati.com website and then putting the DSC as your Club, if you're given the option!

MSDucati1198 07-Apr-2013 17:36

Please note that we must get you signed up asap, as the window to get DOC2013 packs closes this week!

The new DOC site will open on Ducati.com from Monday 25th April, so Ducati have asked us to submit all club info before this.

milesaway 14-Apr-2013 14:24

hi just to confirm my membership is renewed and have my 2013 card- seemed to be bit confusion with skids about it- miles No.31- (med/lge Tee please black???)

Campo 14-Apr-2013 21:51

I've just registered with DSC,DD and Ducati.com wasn't given the option to put DSC down as a club though. I'm I entitled to a t shirt as well? If so I will have a large please

GAZZA23 21-Apr-2013 08:26

XXL for me please........... Ta

daytona63 22-Apr-2013 11:24

Is this still open? Just rejoined last week.

And if it is a medium please.

antonye 22-Apr-2013 12:00

@campo - I've added you to the list as I found your registration and "claimed" you as a member ;)
@Gazza23 - already have you down for XXL
@daytona63 - I will add your details to the list

For late additions you may have missed the cut-off date, or you may be lucky and get a kit in this drop. Over the last couple of years they've done additional kit runs, so if you don't get one this time you should hopefully get one later in the year.

daytona63 22-Apr-2013 19:03

Cheers, antonye

antonye 24-Apr-2013 09:39

Just a quick update - now that Ducati are accepting website registrations again, you are able to register with them.

However, they still have not added us to the list of affiliated clubs! It's not just us - the SDC and UKMOC are not listed either, along with lots of foreign clubs - so hopefully Ducati are working through affiliations and will add us very soon. I am chasing this with them at the moment as according to the new Ducati Club Organiser (DCO) website, we have completed affiliation!

If you have not registered yet, please register but leave your affiliated club blank (unless we suddenly appear in there!). Once you register you will be given a "Ducati Code" which you can let me know and we can use this to "claim" you as a club member. Alternatively just let me know you've registered and we can search for you to claim you ... but the Ducati Code makes it a lot easier!

Thanks :D
