Tie Downs fitted...

And Max loaded into caravan along with all me kit-tools-paddock stand etc etc - Are we there yet ????? :D

I hate being so efficient - I gotta wait 2 more days :sniff:

Everyone else ready then ?

p.s thanks for the link CK - them tie downs are good uns :)

Andy#99 21-Jun-2005 17:45

Definitely NOT ready. Bike's twenty miles away and they havn't so much as put a spanner to it yet! Looks like it will get an oil-change and a wipe from an oily rag and I'll be taking the van after work on Friday and picking it up en-route to Snetterton.

Nervous...YES...and not looking forward to those straights. Like Skidlids, looking forward to a wet meeting!

At least your bikes are in one place - mine is currently scattered across half of Hampshire - and I'm going to be in Cambridge until tomorrow night!:(

AK 21-Jun-2005 23:59

ours is having her bottom spanked by AK on the dyno again tonight:o - was running a bit rich at CC on the top end, and I'm not sure if Mutters is helping, or just grinning at the dyno....

Think we might get another 1 out of her, so possibly 51hp coming up (well, we gotta try!)

Load up on Thurs night, as new boots going on mrs Snott tomorrow eve (ta Steve:D - oops, Shaggy!:P )

I'm going to collect some new tyres tomorrow to take with me just in case the ones I have don't last both trackdays.
I must get around to Dynoing Max again one day - just to see if it's the same as it was the beginning of the year.
Red wine Ck ? I'm doing the shopping Thursday before I head off ;)

I need to speak to your dyno man ive been waiting two weeks to get mine in ?

skidlids 22-Jun-2005 00:55

Dyno time !!!!!! not in my budget, also still on the same tyres I fitted at the start and even then the front came off my 916.
I'll just get it out on track with some fuel in the tank, point it in the right direction and twist the throttle then arrive at the start of the Revett Straight and put the kettle on, should have just about boiled when I arrive at the Esses.

phoenix n max 22-Jun-2005 08:41

One sugar ta Kev :)

AK 22-Jun-2005 10:01

Lin, not to worry about vino, as still have a small stock left:D

Keefer/Skids, AK is allowed to play on Marks dyno when its not in use, but this can mean often waiting till the small hours of the morning:rolleye:
Last nights efforts were not too good apparently:( AK not happy bunny this morning.....

C:)

skidlids 23-Jun-2005 01:37

So how much Dyno time is that so far Charlotte must be about £4k worth by now if it was having to be paid for :o

Lin don't forget to pack a kettle and a torch and for this weekend a Brolly and the waterproofs :frog:

phoenix n max 23-Jun-2005 09:14

gawd only knows mate:o
but if it is marked as a trade off for AK's time in re-building a couple of engines (one 3 times so far!) and my secretarial skills at same place, then I s'pose its down to under a tenner!:lol:

Best I park next to you Lin, as I have a rather long hook up cable in the van, well two actually and I only used about half the length of one of them at Llandow for pluging up the kettle

phoenix n max 23-Jun-2005 11:01

Mines quite long too so between us we may be able to secure hook up.

Just been listening to weather- hmmm golf ball sized hailstones :o - that could get interesting on the track tomorrow for me :o Not sure about wellies - might be worth wearing me helmet in the paddock though
