how much are Ducati sintered brake pads?

My bike has just had its first 12 month service and had new front pads put in at the same time.
I knew they were a 'tired':D (4800 miles) but was planning on replacing them myself.

Bill from dealer for new pads was £118:o:o

these are supposedly DP sintered pads but £118??? wtf??

is this the right price?? i would expect £60 or maybe £70 but not nearly £120!!:sniff::barfy:

There are 4 pads per calliper but it still sounds a bit steep , I'll check with the dealer here.

You could try braking less , the pads in my 748R were still the original ones at 18k miles :sing:

Dunno why they were that much...I have had both Carbonne SBk's and Bendix in my P'4 calipers and they were £60 ish for 8 pads (4 per caliper).

Don't know if the pads for the radials are more?

Sounds like you need to have a word with them Chillo.

Dealer must have made a mistake, surely???

Think it's about right for DP pads for the 4 pad jobbies

Spareshack used to have an online parts price list you could download, open in Acrobat reader then search for the part number. can't see it on their site now though.

That's about right for the pads from Ducati. They're no cheaper from Brembo either.
Try Bendix MF next time. Better pads and about half the price
