Great to see the ex WSB and AMA boys leading the session.Interesting commantary with Jules and Randy on why the lap times were'nt that far off the AMA practice times.
The times may only be a few tenths quicker,but would look like huge gaps on the track.

i know its only the first practise but it doesn't look good for loris and carlos, randy mamola said the ducati team were very quiet:(:(

Troy, Colin, Hayden all did good... I wonder why?

it's a bit micky mouse for the gp bikes only flat out for 10 secs a lap

the racing should be really good though, and the winner?

Great for the WSB boys to get some glory for a short while. It won't last as Rossi will still win. And what about the Yamaha colours, is that the best bike you've ever seen, beautiful with the matching leathers and helmet.

Yea good to see that, but Rossi is saving for the race, Yes it is the best colours hes raced in, looks AMAZING.

Still on the Italian website..Rossi is getting frustrated by the safety of the track and is pushing the safety commission on doing something about a couple of walls... I guess Valentino hasn't seen Cadwell!!!
9th ..but I am sure he will improve his time tonight..watch out for Texas Tornado.....

Spends virtually the whole session working on race set up then ping!....jumps from 9th to 3rd.Next lap...ping!...improves to second.
Brilliant!
Hayden looks good,(about time too!),but I think that man Vale will take it.
