Not a chance it's gonna stay the same forecast till Monday, take a look at the Atlantic pressure charts, lot's of things out there that can affect us before Monday.

I think the sun's gonna shine myself :sing:

Mr_S 19-Jul-2005 16:13

It'll be dry, because half my boot space will be taken up with wets. And they're my lucky charm for a dry day :)

HW 19-Jul-2005 16:49

Don't rely on the forcasts. Really. Don't. This is the WOlds and it has it's own weather that is not really anything to do with the rest of the country. If you look on the Met office maps, their stations are dotted about AROUND the Wolds, but none IN the Wolds. GUess that tells you that they haven't a clue what is going to happen there! I've left home in sunshine (in Lincolnshire and only 45 miles from Cadwell) and arrived to misty rain at CP an hour later. Then it's sun/rain/more rain sometimes and pack up to drive home to sunshine again. Brilliant place though ... love it.

:)

Do the words 'Torrential Rain' mean anything???

The forecast for Louth isn't too hot for Monday. :flame:

How much do those 'Brolly girls' cost to run alongside us as we teeter around the track at 5 mph???

:P

Yep - you're right - best book that Knockhill tracday in December!!! ;)

You can have a great laugh on wet trackdays, once you get into them, you can learn a hell of a lot about throttle control, braking control especially with one hand holding the umbrella!!

AK 24-Jul-2005 18:26

been out this morning, lovely roads - all DRY!

some great twisties...brrrrrrrmmmmmmm:roll: over 120 miles of Lincolnshires finest roads:D

watched the GP - horrified at the wet:o - and only started to drizzle after it finished.

Hopefully better for the morning, in cadwell's own micro climate. Might even get AK to unload my bike again - so I can ride up with new member Pooh, who is now booked into the trackday:D

Not going to be wet all day there!

Rattler 24-Jul-2005 19:17

I'm gonna be leaving home at 4am - should be fun!!

MJS 24-Jul-2005 21:44

Just got back from Donny... soaked to the skin, leather's are hanging up to dry but not overly confident for tomorrow...

HW 25-Jul-2005 03:08

Weather is clearing up fomr the south. Going to be cloudy and possible showers at Cadwell is my guess. That'll be normal weather for Cadwell then. Looking forward to it - which is why I am sat typing this at 2am instead of sleeping. Normal pre-trackday behaviour for me :)

KeefyB 25-Jul-2005 06:56
