Hospitality Suite October any interest? I have a hsopitality suite already booked for Brands MRO (last round) in October (16th) as I want to watch Jay Fernandez on the 998 in the supertwins and have virtually filled it. A couple of the DSC lot are coming along (Dibs, Philippe, possibly Guido). I am also hopefully supplying food/drink. I had a thought that maybe DSC members would be interested in having a suite awsell cos it was pretty cheap and Adopt a Racer gets a free one for every one booked. So I thought I would gauge interest before checking if one is available and give the following info: The suite would hold 30 people Tickets on the gate are £15 The suite costs approx £400 including tickets (i.e. £13.33, less than the gate price). So anyone interested? If so I will find some more details. Should be up to around 18 races on the sunday. |
I might be interested in this. It will just depend on how a few plans are panning out. TP |
Could be interested as well in doing this. Just depends if we goto Imola really or not. Check with domestic manager, and all is okay. So if there's enough interest for this, then aye up for this. [Edited on 19-7-2005 by Flanks] |
I'd be interested if my mate decided to race there as he won his last two races at Snett in MRO, leaving a certain Mr Fernandez 12 seconds behind in second ;) |
JPM, Chez Dibble can be made available again ....... |
Dibble you're a star as ever, you got a job yet? |

ok.. will do .... |
JPM was that Gary Watts? Was told he was only doing a couple of rounds on a well tricked 998? |

That's him, he's running a 998RS02 pretty similar to what Jay and Steve run to be fair from memory. He did the Brands TD a few weeks ago with us, he'd never been there before, but he's 50/50 about doing the brands round now, doubt he'll be as quick there with so little time on the circuit, and that was GP not indy also. He was at Oulton at the weekend (new era) and from what I have heard he's doing 1:42's round there now, he's knocked another 3 seconds off his time since I last saw him race there, scary! |
Blimey. Jays bike is apparently a little less powerful than Steve Illes. According to Ray Stringer 50BHP but originally I was told by the mechanic 35BHP down. Gary certainly did well. Jay said he knew he could not keep up with him and just concentrated on getting second to get to the top of the championship. |
He was on a mission at Snetterton to be honest, his mechanic told me if he gets a 5 second lead he stays there, so when he hit 5 seconds we kept the board out at 4 seconds to keep pushing him on :D Seems to work, maybe they need to do that to Jay  |
I'll suggest it! Is Gary doing the rest of the championship or just selected rounds? |
Nah, he just does ones he can be bothered doing really, his main focus is new era, just does selected mro rounds where he knows he'll go well and get on telly :) |
Don't let him take this the wrong way but GOOD! |

A mex !! Excellent idea - is this happening then? What's needed to sort this? Tim |
you lot need to speak to Paul (Ozz) and sort a box out .. I have 3 tickets reserved in his one already so I am definately there ..... so Chez Dibble is available and my attendance confirmed .... |
I'll deffo try and get there.... Your hospitality will be greatfully accepted P. Will let everyone know once I do... |
ha ha ha .. another Chez Dibs party night ... just need to get Super Mario along now ... won't be the same without him.... |
Unfortunately we need 30 definites to get the second box. The one I have is already full up. So we need a few more. |
