Ducati Factory Trip 2006

Fcuk the plane, who fancies going by bike?

jobr 05-Aug-2005 17:43

Wouldn't be able to carry all the goodies back!

NBs996 05-Aug-2005 17:45

Wonder if Mav would do support?
Goodies problem solved!

...but then again, hands up who wants to ride all that way IN FEBRUARY!

what about tying it in, the week before WDW? - for example on the Friday?

Late May/early June would be quite nice:)

Otherwise, wouldnt mind going again in Feb, but by plane

Mark 05-Aug-2005 17:54

Might as well do this in May Ant, and have WDW '06 thrown in. Or fly down in Feb like this year, and last year.

rcgbob44 05-Aug-2005 17:56

Fly fly fly, can I come along this time?

AK 05-Aug-2005 18:00

Would be a good idea Flanks:saint:

Was also thinking of adding a day trip to Venice , as its only 1 & a half hours from Bologna, whilst we are out there.

Mark 05-Aug-2005 18:09

Bologna is about an hour from Rimini. So, won't be far off 3 hours.

Also, I know a rather nice road from Forli to Florance.

Won't take long....

I resisted that comment, I'm pleased someone else does not have the same restraint! :P

Chicken, that's a bit of a boring route.

How about this one - only 3730 miles round trip taking in lots of interesting sights :smug:

Ducati meat ball run next year sounds like a great idea

The quick way round,

Let’s say 100 entrants ripping round Europe with some back up.

One truck with luggage delivered to the hotels day in advance, for unencumbered scratching.

One truck with spare bikes for mishaps and mechanical failures following in hot pustule.

Nice hotels ready to accommodate the whole lot each night, to wash, eat and party.

I like it, I like it a lot, lets do it wile you still can.

And the factory trip stick to the plain in Feb and save your bike for the meatball:eureka:
