guess the final price of - Fila 999r (2004) £10,000 on e-bay - ends at 12.54 today 20th

Just wondered if this was any ones on here .....

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

still 18 hours left to go, but, at £10,000 including a free trailer it looks cheap and it's reached the reserve so it will go.

Watch the last 5 minutes, should go up by mmm......£2k?

Carbon749 19-Aug-2005 22:17

ok ... sweep stake ... what will the final price be ?

I'll go for £13,761

MARTIN H 19-Aug-2005 22:20

£11750

sparkin 19-Aug-2005 22:29

£14000 tops I reckon

MARTIN H 19-Aug-2005 22:46

Did one not go for £11k or less on here recently?

Rossco 19-Aug-2005 23:31

I dont think they get their true value on ebay. I'm going with £11827.

Crunchy 19-Aug-2005 23:32

One has just been sold on ebay here (Germany) for €28750. I reckon it will sell in the UK for about 18-20K

swannymere 19-Aug-2005 23:50

:saint: £15673.35:devil:

MARTIN H 20-Aug-2005 10:25

3 hours 20 mins left and its still at £10k!

Real McCoy 20-Aug-2005 11:49

It wont be more than 12k...you watch :P

Carbon749 20-Aug-2005 11:52

if some of the guesses are right I think it's a bargain .... a 1 year old 999R that cost £20,000 new and now selling for 11 to £12,000. Sounds cheap to me.

itexuk 20-Aug-2005 12:54

I dont think it will sell. Chap has got 0 feed back this will put people off.

MARTIN H 20-Aug-2005 13:38

14 minutes left at £10k! The current highest bidder has changed his ID 3 times? Do you reckon it may be his mate trying to up the bids?

Carbon749 20-Aug-2005 13:43

quite possible that some one (a friend) is trying to push the bidding up.

As for the sale being genuine I appreciate the seller has no feedback, but, looks as though he joined E-bay in Aug 2005 to sell his bike .... everyone has to start somewhere.

MARTIN H 20-Aug-2005 13:53

No more bids! ended at £10k. Pound to a penny if you were to email the bloke saying you had got home late and missed the end of auction the winning buyer would mysteriously back out of the purchase! And the bike would be open to offers.

Carbon749 20-Aug-2005 13:54

F*** if that's a genuine sale some one has got an absolute bargain ..... £10k including a trailer

MARTIN H 20-Aug-2005 13:55

Do I win a prize for being the nearest guess of final price?

yeti 20-Aug-2005 14:13

'kin bargain at 10k if he lets it go

electricsheep 20-Aug-2005 14:24

well the seller lowered the reserve and it did meet it so someone got a bargin.
i think that i would have put a lot more detail in the description

rockhopper 20-Aug-2005 17:42

Hasn't the 05 999R killed the price of the 04 bike?

Nigel C 20-Aug-2005 22:06

Hmmm winning bidder has zero rating and has changed his ID in the past 30 days :rolleye:

It'll all end in tears

JPM 21-Aug-2005 08:35

Two mates trying to bump the price up IMO, and as you have to pay a percentage of fees on Ebay now, wasn't going to sell so got his mate to buy it

not really, its the 05 999S that has killed the 'r'
hardly any 05 'r's have been sold

rockhopper 26-Aug-2005 09:45

Ah, i see. Becasue the S is similar spec to the R?

MARTIN H 26-Aug-2005 09:59

Funnily enough neither the seller or winning bidder have left feedback for each other! Odds are the bike will be back on ebay soon.
