Pembrey 3rd @ 4th of September.... Just a quick note to say that we are racing at Pembrey on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th of September, this is the penultimate round of the championship so it's crucial that I get some decent points, if anybody is near the circuit that wekend please come and say hello (Red 996 No. 172). Are there any DSC members entering - Dom, are you riding the 748? [Edited on 24-8-2005 by Garry Smith] |
Garry, I will find out what Dallas is doing, if he's entered I may come along to give him a hand. Either way best of luck and do your best to beat Spiderman, I'm not sure if Mark Baldock is doing that round, probably not as his team boss will be concentrating on the Manx GP |
Hope to see you there mate. |
Won't be in the area gary, but best of british to you, and I look forward to a post race report. n |
Yep Garry, I'm gunna be there on the 748 :D:D:D:D:D Defo catch up with you again. You don't mind 2nd place do you? |
Cheers Nick. Dom - I'll see you there, still need to have a chat about websites, been a bit mad last couple of weeks as we are moving offices. No I don't mind second - certainly seemed o.k at Donnington anyway, although first is always the goal!! |
Good luck Garry, hope it goes well mate! |

Yeah, thanks Tony, appreciate your kind words :sniff::P |
Might see you down there Guys, Dallas is taking his ZX10R down this evening in time for the Friday practice and he may take my DD bike as well, and if I can get a entry for Saturdays SoT/MT races then I will come down Friday in the car. Kev |
Just Spoken to Marion and there is room on the grid for me in MT so if all goes to plan (what plan was that I ask myself) it looks like I will be heading down there tomorrow to do the two races on Saturday. I'll be the out gunned 583 at the back of the grid, hopefully No 88 if not maybe No.188. Lin if you read this I haven't got your tel no. could you U2U it or text me on 07956 271131 Kev |
I'm sure Gary will be along with a report of his weekend later. I was there on Saturday sat on the same grid. Sadly in the points race he finished 3rd behind Andy Peck the series leader on the Spiderman Aprilia which meant Andy had removed the remote chance of Garry stealing the championship from him, it was already a very slim hope when they lined up on the grid as I think Andy only had to out score Garry once in one of the remaining 3 rounds. On Sunday morning Garry obviously put the disapointment behind him as he won the quallifier race, putting him on pole for the afternoon points race. This race turned out to be a wet one and as Garrys first ever time on wets was the Rockingham trackday last year (yes he also crashed at turn one) as such his wet racing isn't quite as good as his dry racing so he ended up finishing 5th. With only the Thruxton Round to go it looks like Garry will finish 2nd in the NG Roadracing SoT championship |
Damn! Another fine result for our club racers. Well done, Garry! (Note to self: Will have to post an update on 3UpRacing sooner than I had thought...) |
