WSB 2006 who should be in team ?

who would you have on xerox Ducati 2006 ?

there seems to be a good choice for next year with Baylis, jt,Laconi and now lanzi.

my idea team would be

1 Baylis
2 JT

and if they had budget for it Lanzi on third bike, but with Gse possibly coming back to wsb next year with lavillia and haslem on works spec machines, would Ducati have the budget for 3 xerox bikes ?

Laconi is not in with a shout because he aint achieved bugger all in the last 2 years.(and he's French:lol:joking)

After watching WSB just now I'd have Lanzi and Bayliss if he is available.

Bayliss and Lanzi on 1200cc 999`s, its the only way for Ducati at the moment.

Ozz 12-Sep-2005 09:33

Ditto. Would be great to see Troy back on a Ducati and Lanzi is doing very well aswell!

JPM 12-Sep-2005 10:49

Lanzi as I have said several times is coming up through the ranks fast, and yesterday (admittedly he's tested heavily there) showed what he's made of and doesn't mind swapping paint

Ian 12-Sep-2005 19:23

bring Xaus back!

Lanzi has been kept by DucatiCorse for a while, testing factory bikes, it looks like he is ready so I am sure he will get his chance. Ducati have run 3 man teams before with a bit of outside sponsorship (BBoz) so it might not be Xerox Ducati.

Bayliss
JT
Lanzi

What if DucatiCorse try and keep Lavilla from going back to Suzuki then?

Lanzi and Bayliss
watching Lanzi's aggression on the bike reminded me of foggy.
so much determination and paint scraping top ride. hope he can keep it up

Brogins 12-Sep-2005 21:32

...Lanzi ..of course.. was LONG TIME we didn't have an Italian rider winnining on an Duke... last was Frankie.
The media in Italy are to busy with football but the specialized ones are all for Lanzi...

Lanzi and JT.. they are both young and JT can still show a lot...

However if he is keeping riding like yesterday.. he will not have a lot of friends in WSB... and of course not always missing the braking point at the first brake after the start will result in getting back in the group in third place!!! (and be penalized - of course - with a ride in the pits...)

Forza Lorenzo!!!!!

Lanzi and Lavilla for me please :D

Stick JT and Haslam (already signed) in the GSE team.

Sorry don't agree:P lanzi proved Ducati can do it if they have the rider with the same fire him as the bike. My only worry with Lanzi is his fitness.

It would be great to have Bayliss back in WSB again especially on a Duc :sing:

It would be great to have Foggy back on a Ducati, but the glory as with Bayliss was a few years ago!

How about Rattler? wasn't he considering BSB recently, save the intermediate step up Tim.

Should Tim decline the heart says JT and Bayliss, but the head says Lanconi and Lanzi are probably the best bets. I would like to see Bayliss on a factory Ducati again.
