Had two 999's and never seen condensation in the tacho. Is your bike garaged, or could it have been the cold night that caused it? |
Mines gets it but its no big deal, it dries up fast. /ian |
my goes as quickly as it arrives (don't go to mental with sponge around clocks thou) |
it has disappeared as fast as it came, will it reappear? |
depends how vigarous you are washing the bike.. |
:smug:while it is still in warrenty , get it changed. If you had bought second hand it is a different matter but as it is new and you have paid a lot of money for it get it changed or every time you look at it it will bug you.:burn: |
spoke to the dealer and they are replacing under warranty, it happens when i have been out in the wet and the steam is coming off the radiator condensing on the screen. |
I had the clocks changed for new today, the bike has only done 50 miles now its a pig having to run it in again!!!!!! Mark |

so was i, the bike is 4.5 months old and has done 5000 miles cheers Mark |
my numptystrada is on its third set of clocks due to condensation, - the risk attached to it being damp in there is that everything is controlled from the unit, - it is a programmed header unit to the electronics, not sure if that is the case on the 749,- have a word with the dealer. |
i was told that they have had to replace one or two 749's but they have never had to do two on the same bike Mark |
