Cornerspeed .. proper, pukka, priceless ...

.... just thought I'd remind everyone that we have one of the finest Duke specialists bending over backwards as ever to assist his DSC customer base ....

I have to admit that they are such a pleasure to deal with I actually look forward to getting my bike up there ... and relish getting it back as its ALWAYS spot on ......

So if you are out of warranty, within travelling distance of Nottingham then taking your Duke anywhere else is a travesty ....

Pietro

PS And before anyone asks, Nelly has no idea I've typed this ....

See, there you go again making assumptions that you clearly don't know anything about ... if you go look under the sofa you might find that you left your sense of humour there ...

I don't understand any of this thread but I especially don't understand Eric's picture. Is it too painful to explain. Shall I just butt out :o:o

Redruth 20-Sep-2005 23:45

But I do know that anyone who has used Nelly thinks he's brilliant ;)

ericthered40 20-Sep-2005 23:45

Oh. Sorry but I'm particularly avoiding pictures of Tony's ankle. I don't do ghoulish - can't stand the sight of damaged flesh, in any form. :barfy::barfy:

ericthered40 21-Sep-2005 00:00

No honestly the pictures aren’t gory, more puffy and colourful.
More of a badminton type injury really.
:D

The sort of thing a film star might pick up slipping on set.

What? No feminine sympathy from you? :(

I'm disappointed now, what was the point of jumping over the handlebars if I can't have at least that!

Sorry Tony, but this is the tip of the ice burg, I'm afraid. Not ONLY do I not do feminine sympathy, I can't even muster MATERNAL sympathy. Kate (younger daughter) had an horrendous accident that seriously damaged her ankle when she was 14. She was lying on a hospital bed in A & E when I rushed in and she shouted to the nurses not to let me see it. In all the time it took to heal, I couldn't bring myself to look at it. I had to change the dressings with my head turned away and her telling me where to stick the tape - that's how seriously hopeless I am. Just thinking about injuries makes me feel sick. You wouldn't think I've got 2 sisters who are doctors, would you?

So do NOT post the link, do NOT e-mail pictures and do NOT spring out of any bushes in front of me displaying your horrible injuries, IF you don't mind

I think we've covered all eventualities, thanks Ruth. I really can't see too much 'springing out of bushes' happening at the moment!

Wanna see my .... umm, on second thought ...

madmav 21-Sep-2005 00:45

Why Wait till it's out of warranty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a phalacy
fact is you can take your bike/car etc to anyone
WHO is a Bona-fide repair center
To qualify you need commercial/trade insurance inc public liability
To be vat registerd and be competent to which your business is related to!
fact is by law the manufacturer has to indemnify against 3rd party law and are legaly bound to supply goods fit for the purpose! and of merchantable quality (come in Red ruth)

If you take your bike to nelly from the offset and he services it from new using approved parts and then you need to make a warranty claim
the Dealer cannot refuse to make the warranty claim as the Bike has been maintainted in acordence with the rules set out by them Ie "Serviced"
Nelly is indeed in his own right a reputable service agent!
he can only not do the warrenty claim because he is not an official dealer !!

so the up shot is dont wait till it's out of warranty !
use nelly from new!
a better all round service will always be done by an independant!

and nelly is one of the best out there!

Well this time of year it’s difficult to say.
But with both Ankles, Arms and Knees playing up from previous brakes and ligament damage.
Me hip’s a bit sore from a dislocation, prolapsed disks making their presents felt, compressed vertebrae in me neck, arthritis in the hands from to many January days at sea.

Chiropractor looked at my MRI and refuses to treat me anymore.

But I reckon it’s nothing a bottle of baby oil and a full strip down and service wouldn’t sort out.

Just let me know when you can make a start.

:lol::lol:

What can I say. You have my heartfelt sympathy.

:(:(

Unfortunately, the downside is you've given yourself a really poor write up so the full strip down service/oil etc. in not likely to be available. ;);):D:D

Foiled again, Hmmm thinks thinks

I must admit the overall picture I painted isn’t a pretty one but I was testing you for feminine sympathy for when or If I was to ever get in to that sort of condition.

Now although I have all these aliments that would render a normal guy a useless burden to you and not in the least bit attractive.

I

By what I can only describe as a miracle of biblical proportion I am unaffected and am in fact still as fit as a fiddle. So pleases don’t strike a line through my name in a list of possibly gets an oil service just yet.

How good is that Nelly?, Pretty good from what I hear.
