FWIW - I'd like to see two championships.

Possibly an overall leader as well - but not fussed about that.

Why having just one champion when we can have 2? Anyway if there's an overall champion, I'll make a revolution and cut his head :lol:

2 class champions..1 from each........

"IF" there is to be an Overall champion then it has to be the highest points scored from either 583 or 620ie class

but 2 champions gets my vote............

"IF" there is to be an overall champion, I think it must the fastest of the 2 champions on the same bike (take the DUK Multipla by example) and the same laptimer during a DSC trackday with all members cheering for the guy they're supporting. That would be fun. Just 10 laps allowed, do your best or be second. :lol:

One winner from each class.

Comparing the points of the class winners will do nothing to cater for the level of competition within each class. An overall champion bsed on the points tables will not be the best rider, it'll be the rider with the least competition.

How about the 2 class champions go at " it " in the paddock at the last round of the series................last man standing wins........

just a fair bare knuckle prize fight if you like........................ :eureka:

They should have to ware all the correct saftey equipment... Crash helmet, gloves, full one peice leathers and boots. I just see um knocking seven bells of Siht out of each other but no one gets hurt.:lol::lol:

ok , having thought abou it for a bit...................

you obviously need the individual champion for each series, if you win that then win the 'overall' title how much esteme does that hold? not much for me, your just getting another bit of silverware for not beating anyone.

so.......

how about a trophy for rider of the meeting?

it can be decided by the race comittee and be presented to anyone from either class. someone getting their best results by a mile for the season, a first podium, qualifying at the back and finishing mid pack etc etc????

I like the thought of a 'ride of the day' type award voted by 3 independants at each meeting.

but how being sure of that. They must fight in a way or another, that's the only thing :lol:

Yea very good idea, Kinda Man of the meeting and with a man of the season, not just the man who has the most points, But the man or woman(lin) who has given the most to the series etc, helping other competitors in their moment of need. I could be talking poo mind....

Two Campionships, two separate champions, THEN....

The two top finishing 620s (or indeed 583s, we could toss for that one) are sequestrated by the Club, the two "Champions" draw lots to see who gets which bike, then the two have a showdown showcase race...just the two of them....to decide who is overall champion....how'z that? :eureka:

I'm just happy to be racing and at least my riding is getting back to where it use to be.

I think I'#m going to set up a trophy supply business, at this rate you will be able to get one for even mentioning Dsemodue in the pub................

Mind you, its the only way I will get my hands on one ;)

U first at the bar..........??? surely not...............;)
