More MCN Bulls***t qUOTED FROM TODAY'S mcn - "After kissing Snow White, Rossi then donned a special No7 T-shirt identical in style to the race number made famous in GP's by one of Rossi's big heroes - British star Barry Sheene" Funny, I always thought Bazza use the continental number 7 with the crossed through stem. Rossi's T-shirt is quite definately not one of those! More wishful thinking from the weekly rag! Ah well. |
I must admit I thought the very same thing when I read it too. It is nice at least that Rossi or his crew tried to pay homage to one of his hero's. |
More like to do with winning a world championship 7 times. |
Or beating 7 Hondas to the title this year  |

Like Col said, 7 championships with each of the dwarves - ooops sorry, vertically challenged - showing the years he won? is that right? |
Maybe a closet Chili fan? Ray |
Sheene used a standard number 7 as well, usually his leathers had a normal 7 but his bike ran a continental 7, early in his career both were normal 7's. |

Fair comment, however ALL of Rossi's previous tributes carried the continental 7. Check it out! [Edited on 28-9-2005 by yeti] |

Watching the TV coverage on Sunday - mamola mentioned the sheene link to Rossi and it was obvious that Rossi had not considered that HIS 7 world championship wins was linked to Barry's race number and appeared surprised when randy mentioned the subject. |

Exactly right! MCN obviously just making something up for a change  |
