Oxon/Berks July 2013 Rideout Sunday 7th Meeting up in Newbury is one option, then riding over to Wantage, on to Faringdon where we can stop for petrol again, continue to Lechlade then on to Cirencester, back up to Bibury along to Burford (maybe stop at the roadside food van for a cuppa) and then head over to Stow, From Stow its on to Toddington then Sedgeborrow and then up Fish Hill before heading back to Stow and over to Oxford and the H-cafe This should see us staying away from the Cornbury Festival and also some of the road works going on over in the Chipping Norton area another option would be to meet at Newbury and head across country to Swindon and what was the old George Whites, stopping for a look around before heading for the Cotswold's and then Head back to Oxford and H-Cafe All of which would be dependent on the what the weather is doing. Thoughts please |

it's highly likely i'll not be able to come out to play because i'll be zooping to Coppersaucepipe's place to collect a 600ss, but if you're anywhere near Broadwell (just north of Lechlade - GL7 3QS) then give us a wave at Finial Coach House!cheers, jamess |
3 Attachment(s) Big thanks to Kev for an excellent ride on some great roads |
1 Attachment(s) Thanks for coming along Roy, without the Hants crew I would have been Billy No mates As you say some great roads (apart from those with Loose chippings) and a lack of Caravans which is always nice at this time of year Weather was also great, the new leathers with a few perforations were ideal for todays riding Even got back in time to join the rest of the immediate family for BBQ at my brothers :) Pic is of the Hants crew sheltering in the shade as they try to cool down And thanks Phil for returning my exhaust bracket that he borrowed at Snetterton last weekend |
