Guess what it is..???? No more pics just one - see if those of you serious Ducatisti knows what this is... |
I know what it is cos I was with you at Newlands Corner so I'll keep quiet.:D |
It's either a 900 superlight that has been converted to dual seat with standard SS parts..... ....or it's a VMax? |
yep shhhh Chris.... Chicken = Nope.... |
Is it a SS400? |
think the 400 had a single pipe that exited to the right like the 600SS but can't think what else it could be. |
Nope... I do have one other piccy that will reveal the ans but let's keep it going....eh... |
Is that a Paso engine in there ? |
supercharger? sidecar? ground to air missile? I give up. |
Ground to air missile...probably close....It is just a rare derivative of a standard bike (isn't it Chris?)...apparently... ...give me a break and let me milk it - this is my only opportunity at being interesting....:D |
Is it a single? |
With the brace swinging arm, polished wheels and the reg at about N? Could well be a 900sl converted to twin seat. With the bronze frame it would be Mk2. |
Well, its got oil lines going to the heads, so it started as a 900 anyway :D I think I can see daylight through the front of the fairing body, so no water cooling. Fully adjustable forks - which may or may not be a goldy colour at the bottom :puzzled: Nice little plaque on the top yoke ! Aha ! Gotcha ! |
So THIS is where you all hang your anoraks  :P  |
spill the beans Phil - what are you thinking? |
yellow 748??????:P |
Erm.......Is it a BIKE!!!!!!:eureka: |
I reckon it could be a bike park with a luverlee Duke in there with some of those japanese thingys:eureka: |
Come on tell us??? I reckon that it's a standard '95ish 600ss, with a set of used showa 748/916/996/998 adjustable forks with fabricated calipers to make them fit etc Now I've shown myself up to be completed Ducati illiterate TELL US You're making me miserable! |
is it a 900SP |
900CR- the californian version of 900ss |
Either a Superlight with a dual seat fitted or more likely an SSSP, which is an SL with a dual seat fitted... (like ziggi says). Darren |
I reckon it was a Superlight. Top yoke plaque, carbon front mud gaurd and what looks like a carbon rear hugger with the rolled edge. Is that sad enough for you. Cheers Allan R |
okay - my final guess. Is it one of the 6 final editions that were painted red as standard? With a dual seat fitted? [Edited on 4-10-2005 by chicken] |
It's a diesel isn't it? |
Can I have the cans please :) |
Is it the new Tardis? |
Ziggi wins....bugger all mind you... |
