Fox Poo!

Ok you experts, how can I stop fox`s from crapping all over my patio and garden?

It stinks and for some mentall reason my Goldie loved to roll about in it...stupid bitch!

AK 04-Oct-2005 22:20

12 bore

or local hunt:devil:

Fordie 04-Oct-2005 22:25

Local Garden Center should have something like Scoot or Get of my Garden which are anti scent sprays it that or Semtex. 4D

rcgbob44 04-Oct-2005 22:27

Explosives sound good, I`ve got a few pounds of nitro celulose based substances in the garage!

monstermob 998 04-Oct-2005 22:50

soak some rags in jeyes fluid and hang from bamboo canes about 18" and place them around the perimeter of the garden- have to resoak them regularly

we use to use something called renardine but thats been banned now cos it was carcegenic(like creosote)

or something like this- have used them and they work- but work best in the country side not so effective against urban foxes
http://www.g55.co.uk/acatalog/foxes.html

we very often get badgers and foxes digging up lawns to get the crane fly larvae---- ruins the croquet lawns you know!!!!

TP 05-Oct-2005 00:53

Shoot them, then stick the body in a lime bath.

Job's a goodun!

import a coyote. They are an upper tier predator. Then you can do a wold to get rid of the coyote and maybe do a puma after that.

Crunchy 05-Oct-2005 09:29

Get a toad. They seemed to have scared the ***** out of Dseered terrier. ( http://www.ducatisportingclub.com/xm...ge=1#pid239875 )

Failing that vote Conservative, they might bring back hunting:eureka:

Spen 05-Oct-2005 09:43

Human hair in a pair of old pop socks.....

That bloke from the TV program River Cottage used it to keep the fox's away from his chickens:D

Spen 05-Oct-2005 10:10

Where would anybody on here get human hair from???;)

Mad Dog Bianchi 05-Oct-2005 10:12

the toad thread went on forever and was full of great suggestions 8especially the Heron one). So, maybe you could borrow the toad to lure the fox into a box and then let the toad escape out the little hole you provide for that purpose and snare the fox with a leash that you have strung around the hole. Beats importing a coyote.

dave996 05-Oct-2005 10:12

Don't tell me your all as bald as a coot aswell:D

At last I've met other bald people, I don't feel so alone any more

:lol::lol::lol:

Spen 05-Oct-2005 10:19

No, I've got all my own hair, unfortunately most of it's in my nostrils and ears...........

Mr_S 05-Oct-2005 10:28

You think foxes are bad, I have to deal with badgers digging up the front lawns, and they're protected.

Taking a leak on the lawn, and human hairs working so far. Although the buggers still keep coming back

Renardine was great, but stank to high heaven.

When the circus comes to town, nip down and get some lion poo and sprinkle that around the garden. that should scare em off.

dave996 05-Oct-2005 16:23

Unicorn sh*t, that'll cure anything......

On the other hand....to attract a fox or other night predator, use a piece of polystyrene rubbed briskly across a piece of glass to simulate the screech of an injured bird.

All these and other underwhelming tips are available on line at www.i_am_a_sad_anorak.com

AL900SL 05-Oct-2005 21:27

If your garden's big enough me and the local boys can come down and sort them out.
Cheers

rcgbob44 05-Oct-2005 23:35

So the easiest option is to partake in large volumes of falling over water and to urinate all around the garden..............................I only hope the wife can manage that!:lol::lol:

YMFB 05-Oct-2005 23:48

phone up President Tony Bliar and ask him he should know he banned the country sports.
