Seat Cowl
 

Ok guys, I'm new to this forum so go gentle with me please !! I've just traded in a 750ss for a brand new 749 ! What a bike !! I've ordered termi's which are fingers crossed due in this month ! I also ordered a seat cowl but the dealer has absolutely no idea when it will be in ! Anyone got an idea where i can get one from ? Its the fibre glass cover which replaces the pillion seat pad if this helps !! Cheers in advance for any advice given ! Rob

:eureka:Try eBay,usually a couple on there.Look under 749 and 999 and change the area to worldwide.You are most likely to see a carbon fibre one,don't worry about buying from europe or USA.It's easier if they use PAYPAL but the Germans tend to prefer bank transfers which cost about £10.I'll keep a lookout for you and send a U2U if i find one.

They are mostly direct replacements of the pillion seat, no other mods required.

I bought a fibreglass one and had it painted red, but have since gone with the mono subframe and plastics, so am looking to get rid of it...if you're interested, u2u me.

I know! Ive got a stack of parts lying about the house! When I had the Bip set up, I was desperate to get rid of the pillion seat, but the genuine mono plastics are the dogs!! :lol:

We've already met Dseered, your the one my little lad calls torque !!

Ended up buying the one from Khu996 ! Still got one on order with Ducati but wether it will ever arrive or not, well who knows !:mad:

i had a rear cowl for my 999 bip the one that looks like the GP ducati .i got mine from JHP coventry it took a week it looks the dogs nuts
